The BSOD im experiencing are not entirely from the graphics oc. defaulted the gc clocks still experiencing OC errors (BSOD, frozen screen, post fail etc)....
so far managed to pump to 3.825Ghz @ 1.55vcore. need kinda high vcore if you ask me. tried to push further, even pumped to 1.6vcore, but will get screen lockups and POST fail. hmm... even my previous e6600 can push to 3.844 with similiar settings, but my e6850 cant? Attached thumbnail(s) |

One question, wat volts are ur ram running at? Base on ur speedfan readings, vcore2 is supposed to be vdimm. I am not sure if that applies to all boards, but my dq6, vdimm is vcore2 in speedfan.

Wat about the ram speed? Running 1:1? U might wanna increase those vdimm to test out. My Crucial runs at 2.5v.
I see from your screenie that your 12v is just 11.9v....If that is the case, once on load, it will drop further. Mine is always at 12.3v...on load 12.1v. This post has been edited by extremeocer: Jul 22 2007, 01:09 PM |

Something weird about it... Seems that Core Temp and Everest 4.0 cant show the CPU temp correctly for E6850 as Asus Probe temp is much higher than those showed on CT and Everest. Anyway, E6850 is a nice and cool proc. Reaching 4ghz is like walk in the park. Currently priming at 3.8Ghz 1.4Vcore. Oh ya... The result is from my new board; Asus P5K Deluxe. My DFI Infinity P965-S already been reserved. Thanks for all the interest. |
