Can you specify what memory and timing are you running, try Orthos instead.... I assumed you are using 1:1 at DDR800, try to increase a notch of Vdimm and retry Orthos Large FFT. Good luck

You don't have to run two copies of Orthos, just run one copy is good. What is the Vdimm applied? Try tighter timing instead.... Probably 4.0-4-4-12 at 2.0v or 2.1v

I think the CL3 is a bug. Can you try to run 1:1 with that FSB and run Memtest?

400MHz FSB with 4:5 try CL4-4-3-10? 2.2v should do the job...

any forumer here still encounter compatibility problem between D9 RAM & DS3? did the latest bios solve that issue?

Another question, why there is large increment from 1.6 to 1.8 in vcore option@DS3? how im goin to choose voltage like 1.61250 or something like that?
*
So far as a D9 and DS3 user, i did not encounter any compatibility issue. For the Vcore option between 1.6v to 1.8v that is the way it meant to be so i guess we just have to stick with that...

i'm going 2 get a e6400 + DS3.
i hav some dilemma in getting ram, plan 2 get a 2x1GB kit.
which ram can oc higher?

here r some of the ram in my mind:
2x1GB Kingston Value Ram DDR2 - 533 (Hynix C4 Chip)
2x1GB Corsair Value Select DDR2 - 667
2x1GB Crucial DDR2 - 667
2x1GB A-DATA DDR2-667

heard that some batches of KVR DDR2 - 533 comes with samsung chipset, dunno can oc high or not?
*
If budget is not a problem, i suggest you get the Micron. Other than that, Hynix is performing good too but the best is to have a good look at the chip itself... smile.gif

Suggestion to tampoi et al: Why dont put the name of the ram in the first page as well? That would be really beneficial for latecomers like me!  thumbup.gif

If you think about it, that will be tough right now to add the ram specification.

Much better than F7 i say, at least for me. No looping restart, just default clocks when configurations aren't good.... Try it out biggrin.gif

Obviously overclocking is a hit and miss. No one can guarantee what clockspeed you will be getting, no harm so just try it biggrin.gif Any D9 rams still exist at LYP by the way?
