Is this definite new information, or just assumption in the absence of new update by Ambank?

For GM and PPL entry on land side at KLIA2, boarding pass is not required to be shown.

At least for Ambank cards, their t n c clearly says you need a valid boarding pass....

That is never an issue in airside lounges, as nobody can be at the airside without a valid boarding pass due to airport security...

But klia 2 is unique with 2 landside outlets....And it appears they are not complying with the rules, depending on the staffs on duty....

I would prefer them been strict to stop abuses in the hope that banks will continue to provide such perks....Too much abuses, and they may curtail or remove access...

Exactly....And by their selfish actions, may cause the banks to cancel or curtailed access....

Just like abuses of car insurance claims increase the premiums, penalising those who are honest....

To be fair, they asked for it but you didn't produce it. Not that they didn't ask at all.

I also agree that this should be only given to those genuine cases, it's not right and may affect the banks later.

Agreed too. Last time I went, there was a lady who didn't have boarding pass but went to Green Market. She said she only wanted a free drink, and not the meal. The staff told her have to swipe the full meal, as it comes in a set. So Ambank ends up having to pay for a full meal even though the lady just had a drink.

How about bank shall enforce PPL to scan Boarding Pass? No Boarding Pass then no Claim from PPL?

Ambank already had the condition....If ppl don't comply with the rule, they may just withdraw privilege
