RM1 = 5 Ambonus
5000 Ambonus = 1000 Asiamiles
so RM1 spending is equal to 1 Asiamiles

Yes...That is correct, the only catch is gotta be overseas over the counter transactions and all the online spending does not count.

Can email them, they will email a form for you to fill in and send back. Thats how I add on my Master Plat last time.

Hi, I recently got preapproved offer for Ambank credit card. I'm interested in the Carz Platinum but I was told that I'm qualified for the Visa Signature. Anyone knows if the Carz points is any good or not? I checked the Ambank Website but not much description On where or how to use the carz points. should I apply for the Carz card or take up their offer on the Visa signature

If you want me to be frank, neither one is good. Most of us took up Ambank cards for free PPL access but this will be revised from 1st Nov onward.

I plan to use this WMC for any payment incurred in Singapore .

I noted that RM1 = 5 Ampoints
5,000 Ampoints = 1,000 Miles
RM 1 = 1 Miles for overseas spending.
RM 3 = 3 miles

I also aware that there are some bank/ MasterCard/ charges for overseas spend

I have several cards in Singapore
I group the cards as below:

Pay with Paywave : SGD 1 = 4 Miles
Dining expenses : SGD 1 = 4 Miles
Overseas spend (outside Singapore) : SGD 1 = 2 / 2.4 Miles
Local general spend : SGD 1 = 1.2 / 1.4 miles

So I will continue to use Singapore cards for the following as above except the local general spend, overseas spend (spend in Malaysia). I will use ambank WMC instead.

Above is my strategy to accumulate the miles . Please advise

If u r qualify for those both y don’t keep both since it free for life no af is apply on both... but pppl benefit will revised on 1 nov.. carz card can use for the installment car insurance.

i applied ambank cc for the free PPL.. now with this rm500 min spending required, feels like cancelling the cards

Almost card change the tnc for ppl so either keep it o cancel lol... plus aneon stil have free ppl service but unknow who long it’s can stand for free ppl now

I would prefer the old condition of 3 overseas use of the card, rather than the new rm500 requisite...

Or what many banks apply.... restricted number of accesses....

Previous Ambank card start from plantinium can enjoy ppl for free with 2x vs for 5.. probably being abused to much so Ambank start cut the benefit of it

Not worth to have this card if it needs to spend RM500 in order to qualify for each excess.

Aron still provide free ppl if u don't like to paid for it

Carz point is actually same with Ambonus point . The points collected can redeem stuffs from the reward catalog ..

Carz plat have 2% rebate if spend on petrol but Visa Signature card doesn't have
VS get 5x access to ppl while Carz plat only have 2x access (min spend Rm500 on 30days before or after to get free access for both card)
VS get 3x bonus point while Carz plat don't have any bonus point if spend in overseas country

So it depends which card you think is better

If u always travel and willing to paid for the rm500 spend per each time u enter the ppl... Choose the VS
IF U WAN SAVE PETROL THEN USE THE CARZ PLATINUM

Gonna enjoy my last Sushi Tei B1F1 on my Carz this weekend and potong.

Making way for some other better cashback card.
