Wow, looks like ambank application duration and updates are one of the worst. CIMB and maybank can produce a card within hours. Just applied visa infinite for the lounge access in ambank branch. Lets see how long this takes.

the ambank internet banking site annoyingly does not display the transacted amount in the foreign currency, just the myr amount....and i already threw away the invoices....

certainly a lot of deficiencies in ambank operations....if not for the unlimited lounge access...

Guys. do you have any issues using Ambank card on Google PlayStore? I have been having this issue since my card got upgraded. I can use it everywhere else online except Google.

It says "correct this card info or try a different card"..

Well, even without merger, these benefits can be removed at any time with sufficient notice to cardholders. Not applicable to AmBank but all banks.

That said if it is still there by end of the year, I will apply for VI and WMC. *Fingers crossed*

Additional to this, i called AmBank and they mentioned AmBank + VISA does not work for now on Google. But I told them I have been having this issue since December and they said they will check further. Are any of you having the same issue?

when you send an email to CS at amcard-csd@ambankgroup.com, there is no notification or acknowledgement that they have received it ?

Ambank is really slow in card processing. More than a week since I submitted my forms. Check everyday but still not in system. Called up CS and they just reply with general statement, please allow 14days for processing, our staff will contact you when they are peocessing your docs and need any additional info. I told her I dont even know if they have successfully receive the forms, as I submit through fax, no acknowledge email, sms, calls. Nothing... At least show some courtesy to let customer know the docs is in good hand la.

I applied separately. Visa Plat back in 2015 and MasterCard Plat recently with my VS.
They shouldn't come together.

Then sure is the bank tick one more card for me...
