You can apply for Visa Signature instead of Visa Infinite if below income requirement.

I agree with Fruitie , Ambank card is quite easy to get . Because i just establish my own company 1 year , and they approve my very 1st credit card.

I tried to apply hlb and mbb , both bank told me if self employed, company that establish below 2 years can't apply even if i have other loans on hand that can prove monthly repayment record is good.

lol, I remember the days when some were really lax. Even though below requirements, if little to no debts and financially ok they'd still approve.
But it's good that Bank Negara are more strict now.

My record should be spotless I think, I guess i'll see if my housing loan debt will be a positive/negative factor in my application..

They need to be strict or else be penalized by BNM.

Just called to check my VS application status. approved already.
Overall just took 4 days for them to process. Submitted on Monday, and today approved already. lol

I applied for AmBank credit cards last month and was rejected. I have clean records but maybe hold too many credit cards. Main purpose to apply for AmBank is for overseas airport lounge access.

On a positive note, l applied for CIMB credit cards last week and was approved.

Hmm. How many do you have at the moment? I remembered when I got mine that time, I had 10 cards. On and off, I canceled some and applied some. Still maintaining around 12 now.

I've submitted my am VS credit card application past 2 week
and yesterday only receive SMS approval
bank agent help me submitted my app for both Islamic and conventional
as i understanding , the CL limit will be separate, but what if i cancel one of card either islamic or conventional card, will the CL limit able to merge back? CL give by Ambank will it be generous?

From my personal experience from my recent card application spree, ambank has given me the most generous CL much more higher than the rest, which i myself are not able to understand the logic / formula.

I have 8 credit cards excluding 2 CIMB credit cards which I applied later. Will try to apply AMBank again. Thanks

you will need to resubmit new documents in support, just like any new application....in fact, when i asked for them to reduce my limit, they cautioned that in future, if i want to increase my limit back to the original assigned one, i will need to resubmit supporting documents...
