how can i get the VIP code to use B1F1 app? is the app worth the hassle to use?

One principle card, one supp card ?

Did CS mention to you whether or not supp card is entitled for B1F1 VIP code ??

The VIP code will be SMS to your registered mobile number.

By using the code to register/login AmBank apps to enjoy the B1F1. Yes, is totally worth it for me

Since I didn't apply for a supp card, I didn't ask the CS regarding the entitlement to supp card holder.

I just called CS and they offered me a VIP code for the B1F1 app. They didn't send the code to me via SMS but just told me the code over the phone.

I don't get the hard copy of the B1F1 booklet, perhaps I already got the B1F1 app so they don't wanna give a copy to me. Oh well.

Nowadays Ambank customer service is efficient. Maybe it's an isolated case but I did enjoy good service from them.

I could just activate my new credit card via phone and the CS agent would apply for the 6-digit pin for me. I'll get the pin via SMS in 3 days for me to change it to my own pin via ATM.

Hopefully they will keep offering good customer service to clients, constantly.

For your application its consider really fast , 2nd march apply 8th March got approved . I applied on January , took up to 2 weeks to get approval . And my dad applied platinum card too from 22 feb , until now stil in progress blink.gif

So for me , it depends on the manager whether they doing their work fast or not .

The word platinum in Visa card is more visible compare to Mastercard

Actually the branch received my card on 10 March but they didn't call me to collect, and I had to check with CS. If not, I could get my card earlier.

I wanted to get the visa card initially (just because of the big "platinum" word displayed at the top left corner of the card), but the visa logo looks ugly because the blue "visa" word is on top of white rectangular box. I understand the bank printed the visa logo this way due to the black colored background of the card but it just looks plain ugly.

Not difficult to get. Only less people using it. smile.gif
I only use it for PPL these days, last time got Raya promo and all, got free RM 1k from AmBank. laugh.gif
I will apply for additional card - VS when I go back KL. Let's see how long it will take. laugh.gif

My method is always the same. Request to set to RM1 through email or online portal. If not complied, lodge a complaint to BNM. Success rate for SMS alert still stand at 100% biggrin.gif

That's what I thought too. I rarely use my ambank, mostly on overseas but I cannot accept when CS said SMS will only be sent based on their preset criteria.

Well yeah biggrin.gif I actually asked them why I am excluded from the B1F1 campaign and they simply tell me I am not in the list. I requested CS to escalate my complaint. He said he did but no follow up after several months. So basically, whatever mistake they do (banking, FD, CC), I just escalate it.

Ambank KL Sentral Branch is temporary moved to Opposite Maybank which is located near the entrance there.

Btw what's the email for credit card application submission form?
Interested to test my luck on their Visa Infinite but their website only shows submission through fax number..
