Hi, recently form my trip in Japan, i found a brand of figures called Tomytec for the SV-262. Previously, i have only known Bandai brand for macross kits. It's also very hard to find reviews online for this brand too. Have anyone tried it? How was it compared to Bandai?

See the previous page, ask anykti , the scale is much smaller, at 1:144. Maybe can compare with a drink can.

Thanks! it looked really good from the pictures, those are pre-painted right? Is it more difficult to assemble or is it able the same? How about finished quality? I currently have the bandai version of vf-31J, but it has so few frames for a box that big.. hmm

The price for both are almost the same, just that the size is different.. hmm..

Yeap, its pre-painted and you dont need any decal or paint job yet its still beautiful. But a glue is necessary. But imo, better to go for 1/71 Bandai. the scale 1/144 is too small and for me im quite not satisfied with it.

and yes, i have the Arad molder's VF-31S both in jet and battroid mode.

Nicely prepainted, imho. Not that difficult to assemble but hard for big fingers and bad eyes... Love the finishing.

I used DHL thru HLJ, they will handle clearance after i agree on the charges and taxes. Then we pay that amount COD.

GST on item prices plus shipping. Then DHL clearing fee rm53. ¥45k items plus shipping, COD with DHL rm180.

Normally if below RM500 including shipping won't get taxed. If small item, maybe will pass thru. If have duplicate, also higher probability.

Ask someone going to Japan to buy it for you lah. That's how I usually get my stuff. No shipping fee, no tax in japan (need minimum purchase to qualify), no custom hassle.

Well, a friend is in Japan right now. So I'm able to get the Lil Draken + Missile Pod for 1:72 Draken III. I'm too poor to get DX versions though.

Currently there is influenza cases in Japan though. Have to sterile the boxes first when I get them.

Its too bad that there is no armour/captain pack in Macross Delta.

Further transformed to Battroid then Fighter then back to Gerwalk. The hardest is getting back to Fighter. And throughout all transformations, lot of stress risks to the backpack hinges and waist swivel. Nonetheless, a unique design. Deculture! http://macrossdecultured.blogspot.my/2016/...lta-sv.html?m=1
