Hey i have the same issue but even more weird.

All these while i've been using
Graduate Visa (number A)
Graduate Master (number B)

I made most of my purchases using Graduate Master (Number B) but this week i checked via cimbclicks i had another one called Platinum Mastercard (number C) and the charges went into this card instead. Never applied for this card and somehow it got linked to Number C account. Tried to call CS few times since this morning and i gave up because on hold for very long.

Anyone experienced this issue before?

I supposed Direct Access card previously? It is now replaced by generic Plat card.

Nope. No communication from CIMB. In fact I've yet to receive whatever Platinum card they offered.

I've some itunes recurring purchases billed directly to my "new" platinum card whilst the gold card is dormant. The purchases were linked to the Gold card btw.

Also.....I've found out CIMB has replaced all the legacy gold cards with "platinum" (entry requirement RM24K per annum LOL). Its just weird they didn't inform the customers about it.

I received sms about new pin enabled card. So far i not yet received the new card yet. Not sure why it linked to the new platinum card when i did not activate anything yet.

My concern is booking with Agoda payment option is charge to card later on November timeframe. If the pin enabled card is different from my current Graduate Mastercard, i'm afraid my booking will be void and end up no room when i go there. So far i don't know if the new pin enabled card is different number or not. Seems like i need to cancel Agoda booking and pay now instead to avoid dissapointment when i travel later.

If it is still the same card type, then card no. will not be changed. Just expiry date and CVV will be changed.

I supposed you will still need to insert your card information letter, so it will still work... I don't think Agoda will force you to pay from the same card when you book.

Do we check them from CIMB CLICKS > More Stuff > Bonus Points?

I have been using my CIMB CashRebate Platinum for quite a few months now, but my Bonus Point is only at 100 points at CIMB Clicks?

CIMB Cash Rebate card does NOT have bonus points.

you only get cash rebate.

what you got slapped would be DCC charges which are quite high, yeap should always choose the country local currency instead
