yeah i went through that too but nothing clear cut
it is about time they have a proper segmentation for SUV's
e.g. sedan/hatch
b-segment : city = vios = almera = yaris = jazz = mazda2
c-segment : civic = altis = sylphy = mazda3

if we try the same with SUV

HRV = CHR? = Cross?
CX5 = CRV = X-Trail
Fortuner = ?  rclxub.gif

also the proliferation of mpv's pretending to be SUV's like older Rush and Aruz  ranting.gif

hahaha! Agree with you bro totally, with alot of cross breeder in the market, it just over laps, between SUVs, MPVs and 4x4 such as Pajero Fortuner, etc

As for Fortuner, I see it as D segment similar to santafe/sorento wink.gif

Thanks zenix bro on the suggestion previously, still surveying on SUV car to purchase at end of year, be it a new car or used 1. Recently I come across a used car that catch my eyes, its a 2019 Kia Sportage GT line. the look itself look quite handsome but too bad its ady discontinued in Malaysia. how is the car performed? noticed that it got diesel and petrol version, what is the difference in term of maintenance and performance for diesel version compare with petrol version?

While waiting for our sifu....

I thought you're looking for bigger vehicle so that you can move furniture etc.
If thats the case, do check out Sorento or Santa Fe. Should be within your budget.

Unfortunately, it says See Soon Auto has been closed since April 2023. But I'll take a look at VAGteknek I guess. Is there any online stores?

VAGTechnik pricing are very reasonable compared to VW SC. They have OEM and ori parts as well. Been at their service past 7yrs

Mine is a 2011 VW Passat CC 2.0. They had been my regular service centre since I owning the car back in 2017

ASoulNamedLeo Thus far no major issues with the car on engine or dsg (wet).

Thanks mate, true its a real looker, especially when you winddown the window, showing off the frameless door! hahaha

I was looking at the Arteon last year, but for some reason it was not that appealing to me, at least they should have maintained the rear lights.
Probably I will keep it for another 4-5 years and see what comes thereafter.

Hello sifus, could you give me some insight on Merc GLC 250 vs 300. My brother planning to get one, as he is retiring; its for a long term usage.

Thanks

now that you're aware of it
you know how to care for it
it will not self destruct unless abused of course
Here is my first take,

test drove Merc GLC 250, 300 coupe, and Lexus RX 300.

On the GLC250, the lack of responsiveness could be really felt.
The 300, felt better refined engine but the suspension was not as balanced and comfort was lacking compared to RX300, obviously different segment and class.

After driving the lexus, he is really torn between the GLC300 coupe and RX300, with much space and better sitting compart and cushioning as well.

No doubt it was a short 10km drive.
Just wanted top share my experience. Cheers
