Wow, thats insane to get 8 hours... not sure why I dont get that much of SOT. do you set anything else? I tried once to battery optimize and make "Restiction" under the Battery saving option, I control some of the build in apps, like Mi Store, Mi Voice, Mi Pass, Mi Wallet....etc etc.... but not sure why end up my whatsapp dont get real time push notification. No matter how I set it back, it just wont works. End up i reset my phone to factory default and wipe everything off and set up everything fresh... then only push notification happen. Since then I do not dare to touch any of those "optimization" Mi has to offer... All i did is set Whatsapp under battery saving option to "No restriction", Auto start allowed, and recent menu locked, the rest is default.

So far no issue with battery usage,with this apps your screen will turn ON once u pick up the phone.

widget good ma, tap once only leh.

battery saver and schedule whatever it is, is off.
under Battery>Manage apps battery usage, the power saving modes also off.
only on the Permission>Autostart only i choose what apps that i want to autostart.
if whatsApp need to put it on in the autostart to get notification tho iinm.
other than that, all settings are default even in developer options.

You need to have same apps as him and also make sure you place nearby got base station.

Before this ive use many many2 snapdragon 800 series phone... What ive notice... This redmi feel abit laggy when browsing internet... Especially when scrolling forum like lowyat.net, u can really feels the lag... Prev im oth lg g2 have non if this issue... Izzit because of the 2gb model or miui or the the 800 still better soc than the 650 i wonder...?

Check with Xiaomi Malaysia with your IMEI. Usually if Malaysia set, it will come with UK type 3pin charger

I don't think its the processor issue, I think its more to how heavy the bloatwares and UI is. Even in today's standard, Nexus 4 can perform simple tasks smoothly due to the light UI and pure android. I believe if you change to ROM's like CM or something similar, the performance will be much better.
