How you make sure everything same? Is your telco transmit at the same energy all the time? Are you using the same way? Is all your app load to memory the same way? LoL ... You are just being paranoid

guys please be aware there are ap sets with identical imei numbers for both sims.
official MY set have different imei numbers for sim 1 & sim 2
check yours by dialing *#06#
if same imei numbers than your phone is not dual active.
example, sim 1 active on call then sim 2 cannot receive sms or calls.

mine is different imei number. but never test for dual active

didn't have the chance to test before i sold mine
easy to test, just be active on call for sim 1 then ask friend to call/sms on sim 2

Dual standby is for China version. Malaysia dual active. Finger cross.

I think RN3 never advertise it as dual active. Only dual standby.

i bought more than 30 xiaomi phones since they first launched mi3...so far i have no issue with the after sales. i always go to the amcorp's service center. i went there twice for redmi note, and once for redmi 2..all problem solved between 2 days which is acceptable for me.
