A lot has been said and will be said about the so called 'benefits' of using RON97 on cars which are tuned/designed for RON95. And a lot of this is actually spread by the fuel companies themselves to 'encourage' RON97 use.
Unless ure driving a high performance / high compression turbo, RON95 is good enough. Im using RON95 on my car and its perfectly fine.
But the best RON95 fuel out there is actually BHP Infiniti Advanced. It actually sits in between Euro 3 and Euro 4.
Or we could say, Vento is definitely a bad decision if you compare it with CivicX.
So now, are you going to change your mind?
you don't need to say, its a FACT...lol VW has cheated on CO2 emissions, is horrible on its resale value, has equally horrible customer service...etc Honda...do we need to say more?
no thanks. i already changed my mind..i will go for vw vento
This clearly indicates 2 things:
1) You were never a serious buyer in the first place. Probably just a wannabe trying to be someone on thread 2) You have very little knowledge about cars. The Vento is crap. Super basic with a 10 yr old design. I would choose the City over the Vento any day.
Can the current Civic X owners confirm with me one thing: does the car have auto wipers? I'm asking coz the Thailand & Indonesia version has it. The carbase.my site comparison chart listed it as well. But no other site confirmed it. My SA also unsure coz the official spec list doesn't list it. Thanks in advance.

You can't gauge FC like that. It has to be using the 'fill-measure-use-fill-measure' method.
Next best is to get the average reading from the start to the end of the journey.
Had a chance to drive a new city for few days and experimented with the fuel consumption, I would say Honda has a pretty accurate FC reading. Unlike my car which underestimates the FC by -1 to -1.5L/100km.
Full highway of City (penang to Ipoh) is close to 20km/L, 110km/h, cruise controlled 50%. If the new Civic managed to return a figure of 18.4km/L at 120km/h and some city driving, I would say it is very impressive.

I can confirm to you that auto wipers is completely absent in the Civic X for Malaysian market. I've scoured the entire interior with scrutiny and it isn't there. Not even in the TC-P.
Sometimes I wonder about what HM said about "meeting high expectations" for Malaysian buyers. The folks over in Thailand have goodies like 4-way powered passenger seat, auto wipers, LaneWatch. The car might possibly will even have Sensing in the near future in Thailand.
Yes, they don't have rear air-cond vents, and their glove boxes fall with gravity while ours are dampened. But still, it feels like a hit and miss for the Malaysian Civic X.

sadly no auto wipers..
but would it been a major deciding factor. not for me.

Ok, thanks. Anyway, if Honda Malaysia ever brings in Sensing, I would get it. In the US, Honda Sensing is an option for all models - so I guess they are able to retrofit it into our cars in the future. But I doubt they'll ever bring it in this time round. Probably during the facelift 2/3 years down the road.
Wow, its even better FC than my dugong Vios..Counting days. Can't wait to receive mine..
Thank god u changed car. The new dugong VIos no longer fuel efficient as old VIos. And it's kosong car. What made u buy it? I guess city have not come out yet when u buy?

I certainly hope so. HM should consider include Sensing as an option here, too. Because I believe that buyers nowadays are more and more becoming advocates for car safety.
But still, I'm not too sure about retrofitting though. Sensing consists of a myriad of sensors and a radar, so that's the hardware. And then they'll have to wire them together and link to the system and lastly, the buttons on the steering wheel have to be replaced completely because the Lane Keeping Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control switches are all on the steering wheel, and what we have currently is just... Empty buttons. Might as well have the entire wheel replaced.
