Once the car arrives at the dealer, they need to organize the stock, parking/movement of the cars (as they receive tens of cars over a span of a couple of days). Then only you will get the chassis number once the dust settles. With the chassis number, they will have to prepare the paper work - sales invoice, insurance documents, payment settlement. Usually the admin office will prep these docs. Then only can register with the complete set of documents. Takes a couple of days from stock arriving to registering. After register still need to prep the car for delivery.

My car reached showroom yesterday. Today done with registration. Usually after getting e- hakmilik from bank they will register for Mysikap. Mysikap will take 2 days as jpj will liaise with kastam to check on the tax and previous summons if you have any. After that can register your car at JPJ.

Bro, my car turun trailer, I go inspect. They register and I got my car 2 hours later.

I heard this 2 days ago at one of the Honda dealers, the sales manager screaming on top of her lungs to her salesman "FASTER GET THAT CIVIC OFF THE TRAILER GO PDI THAT CAR, DIFFICULT CUSTOMER WANT IT URGENTLY..!!!"

And being first batch, later got problem customers fell short of blaming their impatience and blame honda instead for crappy quality...

I think smaller dealers give more personal service. The larger ones take in a lot of stock. For my branch I heard the sales manager ordered and paid Honda Malaysia for 250 cars to be delivered before Raya, as he predicts that after Raya, sales will slump. So both their external multistorey car park stock yard and inhouse stock area was packed with cars coming in. PDI was also full and technicians have to work past normal servicing hours to do the PDI.

My father ordered a Ruby Red TC-P 2 weeks ago and just collected his Civic this afternoon!

Are they completely cool that we just come wash our cars and not do any coating from them ? some shops i encountered if i dont buy their packages or so they like not very happy.

Yes, which is why I'm wondering the S is it CVT style of shifting or emulates traditional shifting ala like paddle shift.
