QUOTE(hamrog @ Jun 24 2016, 09:45 AM) Personally, I think the first batch is technically the best batch to buy (for CKD cars at least). Agree bro, actually i want to voice the same but as I'm nobody so better quiet. I learned this from my colleaque work in inokom plant.> Top team leads will be selected to work on the car > Japanese specialist supervising every step of the production > Tedious QC check processes guided by specialist at every production stage-gate In terms of assembly, the first batch will be the best. The worst case scenario is that they have probably taken your car apart a couple of times and redone it till its perfect. Usually the parts that fail is the manufactured bits - i.e. small springs etc. which was certainly not produced for the first time, but this should be within the control limits - maybe 1% small defects - it's bound to happen on any batch. * before I kena flame, better declare that I am an mfg-ops consultant |

QUOTE(Alternation @ Jun 24 2016, 08:42 PM) [attachmentid=6931298] Nice. Did you notice any sway bar/anti roll bar on the rear multilink suspension? Us version equipped with roll bar. Wonder if we received the samefront to back view. Covered engine bay. [attachmentid=6931315] Mid section. Noise, vibration n heat insulation job. [attachmentid=6931320] Back section. Note the piping for the dual exhaust. |

QUOTE(jimmychangas @ Jun 26 2016, 01:29 PM) Yeah I think the actual proper way to use it is to first press the lock button on the remote, even if your car is already locked. Then only press the remote start. Yup. Last time i tried with showroom car can't trigger the remote start without pressing the lock button first. It's always the case with other makes; lock first then remote start. |

QUOTE(isr25 @ Jun 28 2016, 07:46 AM) That means that your wait is ending soon! Once you have the chassis number, that means that it's either on the way (on the trailer) or it has arrived at your dealer. If your loan / downpayment is settled 100%, you'll get it within this week. Gratz! Thanks. Hope so. Loan and downpayment settled already. |

QUOTE(Alternation @ Jun 28 2016, 09:36 PM) Ur tire pressure is probably at 43psi. Reduce it to the recommended pressure which is 32psi. How to check tire pressure? You check yourself using tire gage?U'll feel the difference in cornering, road noise and also ride comfort. Also allow the tire to break in for further improvements. |

QUOTE(cricketboy @ Jun 30 2016, 02:56 PM) Anyone have problem on car registration? My civic arrived 28th to Kah motor, till today 30 Jun not yet done registration!!! My car reached showroom yesterday. Today done with registration. Usually after getting e- hakmilik from bank they will register for Mysikap. Mysikap will take 2 days as jpj will liaise with kastam to check on the tax and previous summons if you have any. After that can register your car at JPJ.My SA keep saying "Still pending register . Once done let u know" |

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Jun 30 2016, 10:36 PM) Just collected my wife's Civic 1.8S Lunar Silver this evening. Good to hear..Congrats on your wife's new ride.. I drove about 50km in total since. My brief observations: 1) The 1.8 CVT is NOT sluggish at all. A complete difference to the City and its slight more powerful than the HRV. I think its been tuned to suit the Civic. 2) NVH is good and gives you the conti feel. But Honda should have done a better job with the NVH between the engine compartment and the cabin. 3) The CVT gets loud when you floor the pedal during hard acceleration but very quiet when cruising 3) Tyre noise is there probably due to Conti MC5 tyres (which are just medium range) 4) Fabric seats are sufficiently comfortable but I would take leather anytime 5) Seats are well designed and suits body contours well. 6) Steering feels firm when cruising and light when manoeuvring. Honda did an excellent job here. 7) Brakes are good and gives you that extra confidence 8) Aircon is damn cold. I usually have the temp set at around 19 deg in my own car but in the Civic I had it at 24 deg. 9) Suspension is a bit on the firm side but makes cornering good Really satisfied with the 1.8S. I was preparing myself for a sluggish ride especially since I drive a F10 myself. But kudos to Honda for doing a good job in minimising the negative effects of the CVT. |
