Am thinking of subscribing for YES prepaid unlimited $30 for 30 days.

1) However, heard that only 3 phones ie Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro, Yes Altitude 2 and Xiomi Redmi 6A supports it? Is that true or are there other phones that support it?

2) Does it allow for tethering to my laptop? If not, what YES plans allow tethering to laptop?

The YES website is outdated. I suggest you to check your phone model via gsmarena to see whether it supports band 20 (new LTE band) other than band 38 and 40.

2) Does it allow for tethering to my laptop? If not, what YES plans allow tethering to laptop?
Yes RM30 for 10GB + 10GB able to hotspot.

Thanks khk1987.

1) When I looked at YES website for the RM30 for 10GB+10GB, it says it comes with free basic internet. What does it mean by basic internet? My purpose of subscribing to YES is not for calls. Its for internet purpose. If the speed is too slow, then there's no point subscribing for it.

2) With regards to Konfem turbo $5/day--is tethering to laptop allowed?

Anybody can help?

I don’t remember YTL won any FDD bands in previous auction... where do you get the info from?
*
YTL needs to play fair in the industry!
This crony company got loads of priority in projects than others too. Without political relationship, I don't think yes can still be existed until today!

I believe you're referring to Konfem Unlimited 99.

*Unlimited off-net (call to other telcos) is only applicable when you sign up for 12-months contract.

You need to hover to the grey out (i) icon to get the details of the asterisk.

For on-net calls, it is between YES-to-YES mobile number calls.

Thanks for your explanation. How long you have been with Yes? i thinking to port out but still looking for alternative. I have to travel alot, looking for stabil line with widest 4g coverage. Not sure Yes is the one.

Nope, I can't guarantee that. Even I have yes 4g with full bar the connection may drop too. If you travel often to town or city should be no problem. For rural areas you have to check the area coverage with CellMapper. I usually purchase SIM to avoid hassle port in.
