Yes line 5G is good, now with 150gb with hotspot sharing from there. Cons, mall. Other line no issues wheres Yes no line. Ground floor Ioi Putrajaya no line, luckily most mall gets free wifi. Will i retain this line, yes cz the postpaid is cheap

During sign up : Cost of the device (RM240/299 without rebate OR RM120/RM179 if you are eligible for RM120 rebate) + 1 month bill + RM 120 advance payment to be refunded over 24 months (in case you are eligible for RM 120 rebate) + 6% tax

Then, pay the monthly bill (RM 37.10 including 6% tax) for the next 24 months and the device is yours to keep after paying 24 months contract.
*
Let's say after 24 months contract no pay then phone won't be locked?

Meaning can terminate without returning the phone?

Even after contract?
Meaning that I need to keep paying even after contract?
Or terminate to keep the phone?

Well, after the completion of the 24 months contract (24 months X RM37.10/month), the phone is yours to keep. You can terminate your mobile contract, move to other mobile operator, or you can stay with your current mobile plan (Yes Power 35) if you are happy with Yes.

Alright thanks.
After terminate then I can use the phone for yes telco only right since telco phone got limitation of not able to use another mobile operator?

Regarding the infinite basic plan. The device upfront payment of RM240 will be rebated for 24 months? Or no rebated? If let's say I choose Honor 90 lite?

No, there are no limitations to use other telco SIM even while on contract as the device itself is unlocked.
Your device will only be locked by Yes if you failed to make payment during the contract period.

For the upfront payment that had been collected (such as RM240), yes it will be rebated over 24 months.

Alright thanks. I will consider between Power 35 with the Infinite Basic.
Yes Power 35 seems much more worth. Might getting Vivo Y27 5G if it is the only choice.

From my experience, I can only say that Yes will always become wonky whenever you need it the most, i.e. a sudden change of Google map navigation destination or placing an important call.
For those who have good experience, good for you.

My YES Home 5G connection just won't load the MyTax eFilling form and all the embed FB/X/Tiktok videos on this forum.

No issues when switch to other ISPs.

Is there something wrong with their proxy or something bad with their configuration?

I have the same similar experience with Yes 5G home .... i was attracted to their package and applied for it.

Soon i learned that certain websites and especially Google chromecast cannot stream Netflix, HBO and Hotstar properly.

But my home fibre maxis was okay, soon i tried U mobile home 5G and everything is okay, so i cancelled YEs 5G home.

Althought Yes 5G home has very good speed test result (better than U 5G) but it is a pain to use for me ....

There was someone posted the reason in another thread about how Yes 5G route their backend differently although using the same 5G network.

THIS.

their rahmah plan is quite gooding actually

need to put upfront RM366.10 first

https://www.yes.my/ywos/device-type/

but for rm35+6% monthly for 2 years, IF your 5G coverage is good at your place, then worth it lah

details
https://www.yes.my/ms/promo/pakej-yes-5g-rahmah/

Realme 11x 5G upfront RM299
ZTE BladeA73 5G upfront RM139
Vivo Y27 5G upfront RM299

then add RM35+6%

my experience using YES 5G from mid-last year to now, the 5G is good, almost everywhere I go, 5G full bar. due to work, I went from Kajang, KL, JB, Pasir Gudang and now Miri, all with 5G full bar under YES. The only drawback, entering mall, heavy crowded area, the line lack power vs others.
