Got 2 free simcard from YES. It is faster than my Umobile Postpaid U68 (supposedly no capped speed) at my hometown in Semenyih, various locations in Putrajaya, KL. Tested it via fast.com

QUOTE(SleeplessEyes @ Oct 14 2022, 09:10 AM) Me yesterday saw an ad - Yes 5G Wireless Fibre. With the tagline : "Home fibre is now wireless" stop reading at Up to 120MbpsSource: https://www.yes.my/wireless-fibre-5g/?gclid...ahoC17gQAvD_BwE Why they wanna confuse customer with the word 'fibre' together with 5G? Aint no fibre connection. And just out of curiosity , I checked the 5G coverage map and its already spreading like 4G coverage. Anyway- See for yourself. QUOTE(salimbest83 @ Jun 7 2023, 02:16 PM) Yup. Those is some area that Yes should improve. how long u been with YES? reliable enough to make it as main line? currently with U, not interested with the 5G planI keep yes as main line and yoodo as secondary backup. RM25 for unlimited is a steal to be honest. Thanks to Tan Sri YTL FOR YOUR GENEROSITY |

QUOTE(mfa682 @ Jul 17 2023, 04:02 PM) May I know what phone are you using and which yes plan are you on? Is the vowifi stable? Like available all the time when your phone on WiFi? Cause my Digi line vowifi drops once in a while. For me on 10 days of using YES rm35 postpaid, it great and best bang for money. 100gb data combo with hotspot is jackpot cz my working situation need to go site and laptop need data, this setting is great. 5G all the way in JB and Pasir gudang is helping a lot. In Mall, in heading LG 5G lost and sometimes 4G also less bar vs previously Umobile 4G. |

QUOTE(salimbest83 @ Aug 10 2023, 11:19 AM) Main reason the rm35 is 100gb hotspot sharing quota. So can use 100gb for hotspot, not many packages had this. For me majority of time need outstation, this is necessary especially heading to some yard/plant without wifi, like they need to registration etc This post has been edited by ayamxxx: Aug 10 2023, 12:22 PM salimbest83 liked this post

QUOTE(westlife @ Sep 15 2023, 01:19 PM) 3. with YES, the roaming is expansive for Singapore for per day, need to add on. if Umobile, rm10/day.1) lion city - physical sim with free 2GB data roaming in bolehland. 2) yes 5G prepaid - esim All the above are on my main phone - iPhone 14 pro max. 3) hotlink - physical sim This one is put inside my spare phone iPhone 6 Plus just to receive sms. iPhone can enable iMessage and forward sms between iPhones. So although it is my secondary bolehland no that used for OTP for banks etc. that is not inside my main phone I also have no prob receiving sms on my main phone. Initially I was using yoodo esim on my main phone for this no but hotlink is almost removing hotlink pantas plan but luckily now still can switch from the latest hotlink plan to this. Want to keep to this hotlink pantas plan so have to do this way. |

been used YES rm35 package for 3 months now, compared to my U68 Umobile last time, this package is CHEAP. No need 1 month deposit is a steal, 5G is FAST for my location, Kajang & KL on weekend, Pasir Gudang & JB on weekdays, with 95% on 5G connection. Cons, signal is weak at crowded area, Ground floor Mall, or inside mall in general. but considering it is cheap, I retain.
