Anyone can help me?
So I've just bought a rm1 shopee sim.

And I've activated it. But I've activated using wrong email.

And I cant get any TAC from sms.

I cant call. I can't received call. I can't send sms. But the cellular shows 4G.

Do we need to wait 24 hours or something?

Can't.

LTE data is working. But I can't call out and can't sms. Tf is this card. I can't login using OTP. No sms received. I can't reset password. Reset password given thru email.

I called Yes Hotline, and managed to reset password. But guess wat? Refer back to registered email as the link will provide there. Tf

Band 20 - Tower coverage is further/wider than Band 38 and 40 , hence will capture more users. Bandwidth is also slightly narrower for sure.
Band 38 & 40 - Higher frequency = Wider bandwidth , but coverage is shorter. When you are too far away from the tower , it will be slower for sure.

For me I am using Band 20, but so far my area is fine, not too slow either (Again your tolerance and mine is different , I can tolerate anything below 6Mbps but not until 1Mbps)

Possibility Band 20 has congestion. Depending on your area

Still acceptable for me as well
but if got other band then wanna try also
and hotspot limited really sien
gonna try unifi RM35 for unlimited hotspot
hopefully better

The Shopee YES sim comes with data only. So if you have a whitelist phone and no credit, you won't be able to call out like Prepaid.

I thought they have very limited stock of Alcatel 1 hence shipping out the Altitude 4 before it got listed on their list of whitelist devices.

If wait until end of August, then they might have found the last remaining of Altitude 1 to give out .. hahaha.

Because if you read the details, the RM1 YES 4G sim from Shopee comes with 10GB data for a month and the YES and Shopee will be linked via IC number ... if you using Shopee Pay that requires IC iirc.

I have Unifi Bebas as my Home Broadband
Let me share my experience, results will vary.
I tested this morning (Probably due to Raya + FMCO),

I got a pathetic 0.5Mbps D/L compared to 7Mbps 2 days ago, on Band 3. Only god knows why.
Band 5 on the other hand , I got a respectable 2.86mbps. probably less people use.
Band 40 unfortunately I cant get due to very weak signal indoor, need to drive out then only can grab the signal.

Therefore if you wanna stick back to Yes with Hotspot, have to pandai2 bypass Hotspot. brows.gif brows.gif
Otherwise go for the 20GB option. That one konfirm can hotspot thumbsup.gif

Is it possible to easily root the Altitude 4?

EDIT: I've looked into it and it's pretty much impossible. Unisoc, the chip maker, have prevented unlocking the bootloader, without which you cannot get root.
