Both P1 and Yes 4G are known as WiMax operator in the past, but nowadays you don't hear them mention about WiMax anymore... Because it's LTE world now, and soon, 5G.
Ring any bells?

https://www.johnkhor.com/broadband/update-5...es-4g-coverage/Yes 4G LTE still remain the same RM0.09/sen per min and SMS rates to all networks even till today. A tradition that doesn't change for Yes.
Consider file a complaint to MCMC here:
https://aduan.skmm.gov.my/Although not everywhere, U Mobile is known for its congested and appears-lack-of-bandwidth network. It is worth noting that recently U Mobile invest billions in trying their very best to improve and expand its coverage nationwide, but to be able to deliver good network performance that is in par with Maxis, Celcom and Digi, it is still a long way to go. Have you tried other telcos like Maxis, Celcom and Digi? Are those telcos doesn't perform the way you expected?
Well you can try Yes 4G by purchasing their prepaid SIM pack. Do test the network aggressively (e.g. speed tests) to see if it meets your expectation in areas where you prioritise to have a fast and stable network.
Which Samsung Galaxy A5 model are you referring to?
The first version of Galaxy A5 (2014/15) does not support 2300/2600MHz TDD LTE.
A5 (2016) supports 2300MHz TDD LTE Band 40
A5 (2017) supports both 2300/2600MHz TDD Band 40 and 38.
...and compare between Yes 4G LTE's 2300/2600Mhz, 2600MHz TDD Band 38 usually perform better in some areas in terms of its network and coverage (from what I observe, may not be applicable to you).
Anyhow, all Galaxy A5 phones models do supports 800MHz Band 20, so you can use Yes 4G network at least on 800MHz band if your phone or area doesn't have 2300/2600MHz.
Hi Sorry for the late reply .
I checked my Samsung model, its model is SM-A520F/DS and when I looked it up, its a A5 (2017) model.
Lucky me.
And BTW, Umobile just replied to me - This is what they wrote:

Hi , we have completed our review into the matter raised and the findings reveals that your location is located at the marginal coverage area (coverage hole) that could caused slow and unstable data connection due to the poor quality signal. Hence, new plan site is needed in order to enhance the coverage at your location.
However, no tentative date can be advised at this moment on the site completion ya. Thank you.
So its just now a decision - to bear with them for a while..or prepare to port out.
And Unfortunately - Yes 4G's postpaid plans doesnt support tethering / hotspot as confirmed in their website.
The prepaid plan do however allow tethering , except for the unlimited . Thats always the case with some of these telcos; reluctant to offer tethering.
If you asked me why not I try other networks? Its because I already have (a collection) of networks.
*Me currently have Tunetalk prepaid and Hotlink Flex postpaid.
*My wife - Digi prepaid and Umobile prepaid (dont know why she wanna keep the rarely used Umobile)
* Home Wifi Broadband - Umobile postpaid.
My wife feedback to me that sometimes she is irritated by DIGI's certain area coverage. Celcom coverage proves itself for coverage - One time we were at friend's house in Bdr Bukit Tinggi 2, Klang. All networks either dead (including Maxis) or 1 bar inside the house, except for Celcom signal the strongest.
Anyhow I will try out the Yes 4G prepaid. Eager to see how fast is Yes 4G. If its faster than Umobile I'm a happy man. I'm not aiming for the moon.
