QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Jun 15 2019, 02:49 PM) NSR 800MHz (Band 20), almost everywhere... Does YES still broadcast TDD 2300 MHz on all of their stations? Besides TDD 2300 and 2600, any other frequencies YES broadcast on? QUOTE(NSR @ Jun 15 2019, 05:43 PM) No it's not 900MHz band (B8). It's 800Mhz band (B20). So far in Malaysia, only Yes 4G unofficially uses this 800MHz band 20. This post has been edited by joshhd: Jun 15 2019, 06:48 PM |

QUOTE(NSR @ Jul 1 2019, 12:22 AM) Woah. If you have insider news, then can you ask, how come Yes 4G LTE can operate Band 20? Even it is under "testing", I don't think they were awarded that band by MCMC, and there's no spectrum auction on 800Mhz band also... Until when they want to "keep testing", and why they don't want to make it official to the public that they are using or even testing 800Mhz band? |

Yes 4G has landed themselves into this mess, as their 1BestariNet Frog VLE project, so-called providing virtual learning education platform to students and teachers, is going to end with so much drama and "scandals" going on.
https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2019...cation-sec-gen/ QUOTE He also said that YTLC was only being charged RM10 per month as site rental for 1BRIS when the average market rate for such a site is RM2,000 per month. Wow.... RM10/month rental for a cell tower, so cheap..... RM10 enough money for me to have one good meal.If you want to know how is Yes 4G service like, watch this video, explained from the Education Ministry: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_ugzF_u5fc YTL even charges RM19,000 per month per school for 4Mbps broadband service with many technical problems that they don't even bother to solve. 😂😂😂😂 https://www.malaymail.com/news/malaysia/201...project/1768698 QUOTE However, due to its accountability, the ministry had approved YTLC’s application for the company’s commercial users to remain using its transmitter in the school areas for three months until Sept 30, he said. So from 1 Oct, does that mean we can expect Yes 4G's coverage to deteriorate, till the very maximum possible? Basically, it sounds like the Education Ministry will "cut the electric supply" to the thousands of Yes 4G towers installed in thousands of schools nationwide first? And then perhaps dismantle them later on? And, YTL didn't even want to pay for the electricity for operating their towers for commercial business, plus their cheap RM10/month per tower site rental. Oh YTL, I don't know what to say about you. Perhaps, please don't let us your face again? You don't seems serious about providing high quality 4G LTE mobile internet services to the people. There are many other ways to make a rich business, but please don't waste resources like this. Feel free to go invest in something else but telecommunication services. |

QUOTE(Hummingbird @ Jul 6 2019, 10:31 PM) YTL be like: "I've invested XX billions of ringgit to set up 1Bestarinet and made Frog VLE possible. For government to pay electricity bills and offer cheap rental, should be fair, and considerable, isn't it?" Reality: It's just a typical day during BN era of crony businesses and politics. |

Eh, since when Yes 4G offers Family plan?
![]() ![]() ![]() But if you compare the supplementary plan cost, it is same as you subscribe a prepaid plan with Konfem 4G (RM1/day and 4Mbps) plan. It is equivalent to RM30 for 30 days already lo... I think they just want to offer it as part of postpaid plan offerings as well, and they expect "entire family members" to subscribe Yes 4G ah... Hmmmmm Standalone personal postpaid plan and another prepaid plan like more worthwhile to me. Correct me if I'm wrong. This post has been edited by joshhd: Jul 7 2019, 11:30 PM |

QUOTE(2046 @ Jul 20 2019, 10:50 PM) Specifically YouTube? Not like that... Konfem 4G's RM1/day plan are throttled to 4Mbps on every data usage (basically everything), including YouTube. If you don't want any speed cap, can consider Konfem Turbo of RM5/daily for 5GB. |

I wonder Yes 4G LTE towers that installs in schools, is it in operation already? How come like no news already?
YTL decided to pay the hefty electricity bills for the towers that they've owed to government since many years ago or what? |

QUOTE(asrin @ Aug 1 2019, 10:19 AM) Ohhhh I see... Thanks for these screenshots When MOE really cut the electricity power off their towers installed in schools, YTLC scared already lol... MOE be like "Show them who's the boss now." So now postpone until further notice... So who's gonna pay for the electricity bills for the time being then? Anyhow, as long Yes 4G users no complain now, will see how it goes later on.. |
