No it's not 900MHz band (B8). It's 800Mhz band (B20).
So far in Malaysia, only Yes 4G unofficially uses this 800MHz band 20.

Woah. If you have insider news, then can you ask, how come Yes 4G LTE can operate Band 20?
Even it is under "testing", I don't think they were awarded that band by MCMC, and there's no spectrum auction on 800Mhz band also...

So from 1 Oct, does that mean we can expect Yes 4G's coverage to deteriorate, till the very maximum possible? Basically, it sounds like the Education Ministry will "cut the electric supply" to the thousands of Yes 4G towers installed in thousands of schools nationwide first? And then perhaps dismantle them later on? And, YTL didn't even want to pay for the electricity for operating their towers for commercial business, plus their cheap RM10/month per tower site rental.

Oh YTL, I don't know what to say about you. Perhaps, please don't let us your face again? You don't seems serious about providing high quality 4G LTE mobile internet services to the people. There are many other ways to make a rich business, but please don't waste resources like this. Feel free to go invest in something else but telecommunication services.

I think they just want to offer it as part of postpaid plan offerings as well, and they expect "entire family members" to subscribe Yes 4G ah... Hmmmmm

Standalone personal postpaid plan and another prepaid plan like more worthwhile to me. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Konfem 4G's RM1/day plan are throttled to 4Mbps on every data usage (basically everything), including YouTube.
If you don't want any speed cap, can consider Konfem Turbo of RM5/daily for 5GB.

I wonder Yes 4G LTE towers that installs in schools, is it in operation already? How come like no news already?
YTL decided to pay the hefty electricity bills for the towers that they've owed to government since many years ago or what?
