Anyway... Google tell me no need translate. SG official language is BM leh tongue.gif

Then add on extra data for $5.9. If I don't need so much mins for work, I would not have gone for Singtel doh.gif
When I booked mine, got a slot 2 days later. Lucky I never take as I would not have the birth cert original copy ready biggrin.gif

The second slot is for memory card, if not mistaken. Not for SIM card.

Anyway, for those dual sim phones, can't you slot two 4G sims?

Ok. Thanks.

Btw, does anyone hv OCBC Sgp bank? Just want to ask whether you can withdraw Ringgit from Malaysian OCBC ATM using the Sgp ATM card without any additional fee charges?

Same question as for OCBC, - what about for CIMB? Anyone knows?

1. Btw, does anyone hv OCBC Sgp bank? Just want to ask whether you can withdraw Ringgit from any Malaysian OCBC ATM using the Sgp ATM card without any additional fee charges? I heard there is no more fees, is it true?

Same question as for OCBC, - what about for CIMB? Anyone uses CIMB SGP ATM card but withdraws from Malaysian CIMB ATMs?
Any fees?

2. I saw this DIGI promo - RM80 for 20GB but top up RM5 and you'll get free roaming 5GB in Singapore and 60mins talk time. What do you guys think? Worth it?

Any such promo by Sing telcos but reverse order - top up for roaming and calls in Msia??

1. Answer my own questions. I found out OCBC does not charge any fee for cash withdrawal at Msia. Only forex conversion. So I don't plan to get a OCBC Malaysia ATM card, only the SGP one will do. Cimb does charge a fee.

2. Anyone signed up for the Digi plus RM5 Sgp plan?

3. Does your HR ask you guys to help fill the employment pass application form? i hope it is not that difficult. Otherwise may need to ask you guys.

By the way, your spouse get what type of Pass? Is it S pass? Is it your HR apply for your spouse at the same application as yours?

1. I don't plan to use money changer in Sgp. Anytime I go back Msia, I will hv ATM card to withdraw. Don't want to bring so much cash when traveling.

2. I still see the RM5 Digi plan - still have. They even advertise in Lowyat advertisement banner.

3. Ya, after looking at the form, it is quite easy. They could have filled it themselves, with our resume given to them already, except for 1 or 2 info. But some info is company's info which HR will need to fill themselves.

I am not referring to that one. I am referring to the postpaid RM80 and then just add RM5 for the Sgp package.

Strangely the Digi staff never did not explain on this to me. Anyway, according to her the Sgp line is with Singtel, and not Starhub. Looks like I need to clarify with another Digi shop.

Anyway, on another subject, when you guys to to MOM for thumbprint and interview, did they ask you guys a lot of questions? WHat sort of questions they ask?

tip for you: just subsribe a M1 sim only plan , 100min 5GB $20 per month. hassle free
*
And the M1 data plan can be used (as in coverage, without additional charges) within Msia also, is it? Is this prepaid?

Hi Kelv, thanks for replying. I am waiting for the approval for EP to start looking for a room. I heard a lot of EP got rejected recently due to new policy by the Sg Government.
*
Anyway, from what you hv heard, those rejected are lower positions or higher ones?

From what i have read from other forums, a lot of issues, the assessment only MOM will know. Both higher or lower position has the chance to get rejected.

Since it is less then 5 working days, i shall be a lil patient before i started another job hunt.
*
You mean you alrdy working for 5 days inside Sgp? Have you got your IPA?

If the person already got IPA, can MOM still reject it? And if already started working with the co, don't tell me you now hv to go back to Msia or quit the co?

I gave my reasons why I am the best person for the Sgp job. You hv to figure out the reasons for yourself, supported by facts from your experience and resume, or testimonials. Focus on the job and not the location. For me I wasn't particularly targeting Sgp. I applied all relevant jobs regardless in Sgp or Mal or where.
