Closing my options, the uptrend just too weird. I rather close for some profit now. Since mine fluctuate quite a bit and I wanna sleep well tonight.

... and what's the difference between what you are doing and trading?
*
most of the time... ppl call themselves investor because got stuck holding and not willing to cut loss... lol

also... investor is nicer sounding than trader/gambler... self-convincing term giving themselves some air of certainty and knowledge in the long run and of the future... lol

imho... long term 24 yrs outlook... is only 288 monthly candles ... same as my 1 hour 288 of 5 minute candles... hahaha...

He have 30yrs experience in market. He see it all.

As what he claim.
*
and when his stocks crashes... he buy their puts... essentially "selling" his stocks away... when he closes his puts is when he "buys" it back lower...

this is effectively what he's doing... selling by another name... lol

Bottomless pocket? Not really. Seasoned options players know how to use time/decay as their best friend to pocket the premiums.
Just like those insurance sellers, they bet on low risk/high prob of rewards and  get those recurring premiums.

You know.. sometimes there's a disaster too.. unexpected event (ie. Black Swan) can also wipe out options players.

wo wo wo.... this is not /k and your statement is misleading

ukraine is a sovereign county that doesnt need russia permission to join nato or not

there are war everywhere. israel and hamas issue is not done yet, so does mynamar and syria internal civil war
*
no he is correct...

when gorby dismantled ussr... it was because nato/usa promised gorby not to expand nato membership and eastward expansion towards Moscow... Ukraine was part of ussr at the time...

nato and usa have since renegade on the deal... expanding nato and slowly ostracized Russia from the international arena... putin is painted into a corner... has repeatedly ask nato/USA not to include Ukraine... nato/USA only have to say ok...

most of the world problems is because of USA... BTW the Israel problem is created by USA/UN...

ok i stop here as i see no end of this argument

most importantly protecting asset during this challenging times are more important on this worldly issues

Crimea is different story... didn't say Russia is blameless... just saying root cause is decades of USA foreign policies meddling... all know facts, no need to argue wink.gif

If you understand why NATO was formed, would understand why Poland joined and why Finland and Sweden wanted to join NATO.

Without u.s involvement in NATO, NATO is not a effective deterrent against Russia. European wanted u.s involvement more than vv.
If go by your rational; in the event of PRC invasion on Sabah, our pm should cede Sabah to avoid war.
*
thank you for the lol...

when gorby disbanded ussr and ended the cold war... it presented a great opportunity for the west to build bridges with Russia...and for a time it did... remember... gorby/Russia did this first...

but USA's desire to be the world's only superpower and big brother police ... chose to continue with Russia containment and isolation (see Truman Doctrine/Marshall Plan)... and so now we have the putin/Russia of today...

hence this is why it's USA fault... by making someone your enemy, he becomes your enemy... remember... Russia was ready to make friends...

anyways... enough history lessons from me... don't simply assume I don't understand NATO yah... wink.gif cheers...

back to tered...

us market continues to move within my elliott waves of months ago... so just watching by the sidelines waiting for fire sale to restart... many stocks are ready to breakdown... biggrin.gif

ah... correction... got my leaders wrong... it was yeltsin, not gorby, in that 3 men secret meeting

anyways... it's OK you are ignorant of such history and historic events, and impact of us foreign policies around the world... after all, these are not mainstream and us propaganda is strong...

enough OT from me... bye
