when gorby dismantled ussr... it was because nato/usa promised gorby not to expand nato membership and eastward expansion towards Moscow... Ukraine was part of ussr at the time...

nato and usa have since renegade on the deal... expanding nato and slowly ostracized Russia from the international arena... putin is painted into a corner... has repeatedly ask nato/USA not to include Ukraine... nato/USA only have to say ok...

most of the world problems is because of USA... BTW the Israel problem is created by USA/UN...

but USA's desire to be the world's only superpower and big brother police ... chose to continue with Russia containment and isolation (see Truman Doctrine/Marshall Plan)... and so now we have the putin/Russia of today...

hence this is why it's USA fault... by making someone your enemy, he becomes your enemy... remember... Russia was ready to make friends...
