High quality stuff which means your investments mostly in individual shares of blue chips?

Any stocks that fulfilled my screening criteria. I got no preference for blue chip or small or mid cap.

Started a 6 figures position on UNH @ USD325 per share. It could burn me, but what the heck, YOLO.

I am stuck at 264 for UNH, don’t know if should continue to average down haha

It's meant to be a long hold, 6 months to 1 year min.
Fundamentally, they are oversold so if you have holding power they will bounce back, no worries about bankruptcy. They are still profit making, but it is an industry downturn. The good news is they are still paying a dividend, I may just hold on to them for years even actually.

I averaged down to 292 and sold all at 320 before the quarter result. Then I started an even bigger new position at 250 last week. Buy when there’s blood on the street. This company is just the most hated insurance company right now, new CEO doesn’t give much confidence during his speech. But fundamentally I believe it’s rock solid. A company that never miss target for the past 10 years until recently will not go down so easily.

US is overhaul the healthcare. Trump want to lower down the price of healthcare. So now healthcare kena bash.

UNH is under investigation. It also restructuring the price of their product (might result lower profit margin).

What's up, everyone?..

Here's an update from me: I lost 2% of my overall account scalping the NASDAQ last night, after President Trump tweeted twice that dropped the market instantly by 60 points each...

On the flip side, I'm still holding on to my long-term positions:

- Short on DropBox
- Long on XOMetry
- Long on Microvast

Like any business, consistency is key...

Show up day in and day out, open the shop whether you make money or not... And that's key... smile.gif

I hope everyone is doing fine...

I have a curious question.

Can Malaysian citizen invest in US stock market in the year 1986 or the year 1997? For example invest in MSFT in 1986 or AMZN in 1997? Are there any Malaysian citizen who invested in US stock market in 198x or 199x? Please tell how you do it, I'm just asking this out of curiousity.

Interactive broker already in existence since then. But likely by using Malaysian banks and get charged around RM200/transaction like what is happening now.

My trades as of recent:

- Short-selling Carvana
- Short-selling DropBox
- Buy Microvast (mid-term holding)
- Buy XOMetry

Once again, do your own research, assess the conditions, make your own decisions, and take your own risks... No financial advices given here...  cool2.gif

Hello, folks...

Here's an update from me: I have cleared all my positions (including DropBox) except for Microvast, which is a long-term holding for me...

Having this said, my portfolio is no longer neutral in stance but I am looking for shorting opportunities once again...

if you ask me, only recently this few years when moomoo MY popup, where its feasible to invest in USA.

before moomoo MY, it just dont feel comfortable, because of high TT fee when deposit and withdrawal.

I think i tried a SG broker called Usmart. Deposit and withdrawal only, already make me loses lots of money in fees.

Nonsense about moomoo giving us options. I have known about interactive broker during uni days. Only didn't have guts to act. Only acted after 1mdb.

Damn I almost forgot about UNH. Luckily you mention it again. Basically sitting on 0.618 golden Fibonacci.
