Just wondering guys, what's the cheapest platform to trade American stocks from Malaysia? I am looking online, the Malaysian options are too expensive ($25 per trade), while the American options seem to require $2,000+ minimum account balance.

Maybe I am missing something. I would like there to be $10 fees per trade, and zero requirement of account balance.

First have you read everything which sifus here and FSM said? To trade in US market, you will need like min USD10k. If min USD2k is out of your option, I think it's better you start slow.

It's unwise to lose all the USD10k one shot considering that you have just started working.

Oh ya. I forgot to mention if you are investing in the US straight, any dividend you gained will be taxed 30% cause you're an Alien.

Yes. Asia and Eu stocks will drop. That is why now Yen, gold, bonds are increasing.

Not sure about Asian markets... but I think this dip will be bought when it gets to the 50ma support level.

SP500: 2247
Dow: 19650

Both SP500 and Dow are still quite bullish.

Super bullish is the Nasdaq... nothing stopping it it.

As for Oil.. since we're still above $50, we're still in upper range ($50-$55) game play.

Oil is nervous....

Opec talk, Opec cut, more Opec talk.

Then north america put more rigs to work, incr output.

Last few weeks rig count incr will invariably incr stocks soon enough.

Question is if opec will abandon their cuts and when. biggrin.gif

I am betting that will happen before mid year.

Oil move seems more Dollar related plus ExxonMobil earnings weren't too great.

Wow.. AAPL scored the revenue target again: $78.4 bln
Incredible, even with headphone jack missing for the latest model, not an issue.

Not so fast.. but need to strongly break above that $130 (May 2015 high) first.

If cannot break, at least fall back down to fill that gap to 122 (this is where buyers will step back in).
If dare, time to short here... devil.gif

Oil still holding steady here.. but the political storm is brewing between US and Iran.
Any indicator of supply disruption could have crude break out of its range.

Meanwhile, oil stocks continue to retreat this week. I'm waiting for XLE to pull back a
bit more closer to the 200ma level before jumping back in. Hopefully, closer to $70 or below.
