HOLDING POWER IS KING too. VIX is very optimistic / greedy mode. When is correction? Perhaps there isn't any for year 2017, as bull market is going uptrend to last 2 stages in 18 - 24 mths. Finger crossing. Just a thought.

Buy and hold opposite sky high counters, example gold/silver/platinum /zinc / copper .etc other precious metals either in mining /trading counters. For reference only. AXU, GSS, AKG, HNR ..etc

Previous ratio from early 1st - 6th bull stages
sky high counters : gold / natural resources / precious metals
40 -->> 70 70: 30 30 << -- 60

7th - 8th bull market till next crisis ??? New ratio
Sky high counters : gold / silver ...etc
70 -->> 40 40 : 60 60 << -- 30

Just a thought + example only. Sky high counters dividend Will be varies accordingly too. No need daily monitoring and stay very late.. if the Sky high counters koyak, opposite counters excited and vice versa. No need daily update / comment here on little thing.

Why like to play these games? Why not, you own / invest into gaming companies that legally owned these games and hope to get quarterly quite attractive dividends YIELD ? Here we got magnum, toto, pmp , while in USA/HK got Wynn, Las Vegas Sands, MGM, Caesars, MPEL ...

Hard to control your emotion, especially making good ROI.
Few of my friends in another whatapp group, holding equities since year 2009 and already got their capital return plus enjoying dividends, now still in 9th years Bull market since 2008/2009 disasters.

Don't trust any trading adages, like buy in October, sell in May plus go away.. or time the market.. any good mega sales discount, will be always a good bargain hunting.. Cash is king too. Don't pour everything in equity too.

which may reflect directions.

Year 2009 = equity 80% : 20% FD
Year 2011 = equity 80% : 10% FD : 10% Gold
Year 2014 = equity 60% : 10% FD : 30% Gold
Year 2017 = equity 50% : 50% Gold ?
Year 2019 = equity 30% : 50% Gold : 20% FD ???
Year 2022 = ??

For long term investor, certainty can sleep well. Just open phone apps / laptop occasionally at 9:30pm - 10:30pm.
Watch CNN/ Bloomberg / CNBC and plan to sleep before 11:15pm .

No need to stay up till very "early morning" to see directions /graph movement, look up for amazing news, ..etc

Good question = Will goodies / foods price reduce when petrol price is down? WHY trader / bosses who want big profits margin? Hope more oil shale outputs will stabilize world crude oil price. 1st April petrol price down ?? Consumers will think thrice and make prudent budget, buy necessary items and always go to shops selling lowest price. Similar to USA or civilized first world country habits? Smarter and more inflation awareness surrounding consumers in the future.
