BTW, what do you guys think about this fees structure for a new brokerage that I was been introduced to (Halifax Investment Services Ltd based in Australia)?

1. US Shares & CFDs: USD0.022 per share (min USD2.75 per trade)
2. Margin account min funding = USD2,000
3. Account balance < USD 1,000 will incur an account keeping fee of USD1.00 per calendar month

I know it's foolish to decide on a brokerage based on the fees / commission alone but it's definitely tempting when most of the offshore brokerages available (not taking into account IB of course) charge at least USD5 - USD10 per trade. sweat.gif

I took a bite tonight when it's dips below 52, I think it worth a shot here with the bearish API numbers.
It is still range bound between 50-55 here. Going to try to sell it when it gets to 54 again.

Yea, that's what people are speculating right now. However, most of the time, proposing an acquisition will further push the price down but I guess a lot of hedge fund managers are probably eyeing GILD at this very moment so perhaps it might go the other way around.

Averaged down again at $67.

GILD @ 65, getting closer to 3% yield. drool.gif

That's lowest weekly I've seen. Next month UE could be lower... and inflation coming for US. Gotta to watch for Fed move for interest rate again next month. More money being repatriated back to US soon..

$NVDA beats earning handsomely! Revenue up 55% YOY while EPS up 117% YoY. I wonder how green tonight's gonna be.

Same goes to $AMD's chart, I presume? Both $AMD & $NVDA's 2y chart appears to be ripe for correction.

Oil retreating again, as expected. As always.. once it touches 54.. it backs down again.
Looking to see if it can touch low 51 later to get back in.

Not sure if this is the right place, but income from US markets are not taxable by LHDN right? I'm just concerned that I might attract their attention if I repatriate my profits back and not declare it as income since its not taxable anyway. The Trump rally has given me enough to pay off my mortgage and be debt free.
