RGX4400 is latest and its a router. Not modem. Modem is the btu and i think latest is HG8240w. This running well for 100mbps and above. Depending on area u living in as well. Works well for me.

That might be the charges for HyppTV contract breach. But from what I understand, it will only be charged if you downgrade package, like from a more expensive package to a cheaper one. But from Varnam to Jumbo should be upgrade, not chargeable. Clarify things with them
*
I have ask @tmconnects regarding changing hyyptv package (upgrade) user will be charge only RM5. what happen to our friend is totally nonsense. call tm 100 to clarifies once more if not solve, ready for mcmc report regarding this. always overcharge their customers. vmad.gif

It's free. For me it was -RM50. In my circumstance, I made money by opting for the RGX4400. For example, I sold DIR-850L for RM100 and bought RGX4400 for RM50. Made 100-50 = 50 bucks. Awesome router.

No drawbacks compared to lesser routers. Many if compared to better routers. Generally I'm quite impressed with its features & performance. I don't think it's for sale to the public. I said it's free a few posts above. Maybe try TMPoint.

If you want to test it out, go to the new coffee shop behind RHB Bank in Mahkota Cheras.

You may want to buy this 450Mbps wireless-N gigabit router.

I have it for less than a month, and it is more than satisfying. Costs me only RM154 at Lazada with discount voucher.

Short review of my new TP-Link TL-WR1043ND (hardware version V3).

The stability of the router is excellent. With a speedy 720MHz processor and adequate RAM for maintaining countless torrent sessions,
it just breezes along with less than 10% processor utilization at all times.

It has been more than half a month and counting since I rebooted the router for some configuration changes, as shown below....

Bandwidth control by individual devices works perfectly. Speedtests show that the upper defined limit is capped to the exact figure.

There is not much wifi signal interference from neighbouring houses, and my signal strength all over the house ranges from -60 dbm to -32 dbm,
including the car porch and the backyard.

I can even receive my wifi signal across the road in front of my house at -75 dbm. Amazing!

It is indeed a worthy replacement for my entry-level ASUS RT-N12D1. smile.gif

i think hypptv and voice call is "PAKSA PLAN" and we wont be able to terminate it easily. i think penalty waiting if we want to terminate both.

Make sure you are no longer tied to HyppTV contract. HyppTV has one year contract. UniFi itself 2 years

You can forget about this option. If it works, we would have terminated the HyppTV long time ago. laugh.gif

My ASUS RT-N12D1 is good too, except that lately the wifi signal strength has dropped tremendously for no apparent reason. And I am on the latest firmware.

The WR1043ND V3 wifi signal strength is 5x better than the RT-N12D1.

There is already no wifi signal at the car porch with the ASUS.

Receive phone call from TM offer to upgrade from 30Mbps to 50 Mbps with extra rm20 (discount rm30) so need to pay rm219+gst instead of rm199+gst , is the offer valid or scam ? As I dont see anyone getting similiar offering.
