Alcohol is not what is haram, things that make you drunk is haram.tapai and tuak are not made in a big factory so the alcohol content may vary.

yeah we should look back at the purpose of the foods processing/making, if it really means to "mabuk" thn it definitely falls onto haram thingy.....

It should have evaporated during cooking process (ethanol boiling point 78 degrees celcius)... so no more ethanol... no more mabok~
