RM700+ for last week drive. Same full 10 hours on Saturday, Sunday.
Working day is after work 5pm to 9pm. A few morning rajin a bit wake up early to get 1 hour online time (6AM to 7AM) and trips into KL city. Plus friday lunch hour curi-curi a bit go out drive during MP time. Haha. Tiring work.

I think those hitting 1K+ incentive must have cover the peak time on every working morning (6AM to 10AM) without fail.

sync your phone to auto Internet time update. Grab timing is 25 second slower. so if you want to get full block of incentive online on 16:00:25 for example and above.

anyway late 1 minit actually not much deduction. 1 minit less 1.6667% only. if rm40 is like less 70 sen for 1 minit late online.

This is definitely better than Uber.

Full time incentive driver I know will not go for the P block incentive during lunch hour. better go back home and rest more. (except Friday of course)
this week incentive 8pm block is HP and should do Saturday 10 hours straight 11pm till 9pm. is a good day to earn incentive in my opinion. maybe can take Sunday off.

Disiplin is the key. sleep early wake up early. follow the timing. the requirement is not hard to achieve. Here is a story taken from FB:

singapore already implemented boost (like Uber here) replacing insentif.
however do read my story above, if that is the case. no drivers will take any short trips. and slowly riders will not use grab as well.

bad. and now with the upfront fare I guess even more drivers will be moving to Grab soon.

Base on Table for this week:



Calculate only 1 trip per block, driving at HP and above only:
Monday: 5AM-10AM. 4PM-9PM. (10 hours per day)
Tuesday to Thursday: 6AM-10AM. 4PM-9PM. (9 hours per day)
Friday: 6AM-10AM. 11AM-9PM. (13 hours per day)
Saturday: 11AM-9PM. (10 hours per day)
Sunday: 11AM-2PM. 4PM-9PM. (8 hours per day)

For weekday: Total earning = RM1635. Minus 20% is = RM1308. (Saturday, Sunday rest day.)
if add Saturday = +RM280. Minus 20% is = RM224.
if add Sunday = +RM220. Minus 20% is = RM176.

If work 7 days a week, RM1308 + RM224 + RM176 = RM1708.

p/s: In reality, the amount is surely more than what's being calculated above. Because most of the time, you will get more than 1 trip per block. so I guess full timer will hit RM2k per week.

It's 25 seconds late to be exact.

incentive is not chasing trip. you will end up doing 4 - 5 short trips in 1 hour which is not worth it anymore.

incentive drive should be a relaxing one. if you realise, only the first trip is important. 2nd trip and 3rd trip add only RM10. if you get more than RM10 trip then it will eat into your incentive.

after 1st trip, I will just find shady place to stop. open bonnet and sit there browsing my phone. this is the time to move around rather than whole time sitting in car. ping is depending on luck. sometimes not even 1 minute already got ping. sometimes can survive until the current block hours end also no ping.

keep your acceptance rate and cancellation rate good so that during the last 5 minute block hour (especially during jam period) is time to decide whether to ignore or accept then cancel any ping.


what if I keep pressing I'm here multiply time. will the rider receive multiply time notification as well?

platinum driver reward. congrats! heard platinum driver will have a special tag beside their name to let rider know you are the platinum driver.

you wear suit/tuxedo with tie when driving?
open door for rider?

request them to implement penalty for rider no show just like Uber.
maybe a rating system for rider as well just like Uber. rider must know they are not king/queen all the time.

Platinum Driver word should be powerful.

yes man. you are smart. the waiting time over at the airport is not worth it. you can earn more driving in KL than waste time waiting there. even Genting also not worth it although is a hefty RM110 for less than an hour trip. too many drivers porting there as well.
