Let's say if I GIRO transfer 10k from maybank to other bank and on the next day I transfer back the 10k for the maybank FD placement. Is it still consider as fresh fund?

Nope, you can opt to not open an account if new customer. I didnt. Counter staff say they can transfer your money to any bank or give you a cheque for it.
