No update yet for my ZF3 Zoom

Just realized my zenfone 3 max doesn't have splendid...

The 5.2" model doesn't have it, I'm not sure if the 5.5" model does.

mine is 5.5

Maybe it takes up valuable CPU and GPU resources, since it's running all the time.
I don't play with it much anyway, just set it to vivid and leave.

doesn't bother me much but it would have been great to have the option for when watching videos...

hi guys,,interested with the ze520kl.. saw at lazada rm1025.. wanna ask hows the camera performs under low light condition? and hows the 4g lte speed ? i know depends on the area but just wanna know.. thanx

Camera in Low Light should be within the expectation of the phone at this price range. But, you can control the shutter speed and ISO values in Manual Mode. If you have very steady hands or a tripod, you could get a decent picture under low light. Do note that the pixel has finite amount of light it can absorb, so even if you put the shutter speed for very long (2s), it probably will look the same as usual long (1/2s).

About 4G LTE speed, I can't comment on much. My area didn't have very fast 4G LTE connection so I can only tell that regular 4G on most areas probably ranges from 10 - 30 Mbps (download).

for the LTE speed does this phone offers cat4 or cat6?

Even new Zenfone 3 5.2" can be bought around RM1050 - RM1150 if you look properly.

For the 5.5", it's a little hard, but I've saw the price went down to RM1350 - RM1450, mostly around RM1450+ though.

My less than 1 month old Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom developed a display problem, got horizontal line appeared, annoying.

Need to sent for warranty claim...
A bit disappointed in the quality control

On the positive side, at least the warranty was registered in Asus system even though I bought online from Lazada and had no receipt except the delivery note.

FYI for those considering purchasing.
Don't get those grey import, afraid later no warranty.

Yeah, I would suggest go with MY phones for Asus since the price is already quite good with the Asus Z3 series.

Abit disappointed on zenfone 3 5.5 , until now no volte, even Red mi 4 got, digi and yes both support volte.

I'm not that familiar with VoLTE, but I believe it's useful for those Skype/Whatsapp calls isn't it? Kinda bummer that Asus didn't support it on their phones. If it's possible, I do hope they send out a patch to activate it.

No. VoLTE is the new tech for handling voice calls.

Used to be all voice was handled via "circuit switched". Now everything is IP based and "packet switched", and LTE is a packet switched technology, hence VoLTE.

So it's upgrade over VoIP? Also, what voice call will benefit over it? Will it even benefit the regular voice call?

are you using 552kl? do you mind to screen shot me the settings->More -> cellular networks

SIM1 and SIM2, is there any advance LTE option, because according to Asus firmware version release note, did mention about LTE enable already.

VoLTE it mean Voice Over LTE, yes! benefit the regular voice call, now majority new phone support VOLTE, if both have VOLTE support, the call will be very clear.
