Anyone here tried the microsd + nanosim mod?

I was using it on my Mi Max but this ZF3U is a tighter fit despite being a larger device.

And the Zenfone 3 Ultra too

I managed to get 2 SIMs and sdcard working with the SIM adapter. No modding of SIM card or sdcard needed.

It's exactly the same as from this guy's thread.

Anyone experienced ZF3 Ultra having some focus issues? I read some blogger described that focus is sometimes blurry, needs a few shots before it focuses properly.

I've seen it happen to some of my scenery pics.

I've been using GBWhatsapp and so far it's working really well.

Changeable DPI will be good for a device with this size of screen.

Have used it on ZF3 Utra and my wife's Samsung S7e, working fine.

It does not have native dual app support but I have been using GBWhatsapp quite well. That's basically the most common app people want dual app for.

I'm not sure about wechat or the others though.

No. VoLTE is the new tech for handling voice calls.

Used to be all voice was handled via "circuit switched". Now everything is IP based and "packet switched", and LTE is a packet switched technology, hence VoLTE.

It's currently the only phone of its size with all the modern features. The only thing lacking is NFC for the pay apps.
All the newer phones from everyone else tops out at 6.4/6.44"

This size of screen is really good real estate.

I'm used to large devices, hence up to 7" it will still feel like a phone to me. My first Android was the Note 1 at 5.3"
Largest phablet I got was the 7" Mediapad and Mediapad X1.

Had the Tab S 8.4 as well but sold it off due to the poor battery life and intermittent lag.

I got a 10.1" Tab A6 for a little while but that was TOO large and inconvenient without a bag.

I'm thinking of selling off the ZF3 Ultra for a Lenovo Tab 4 Plus 8", when it becomes available. It has all the modern specs including USB-C and fingerprint sensor.

If you're saying "better than", then I think for this size, nothing else comes close.
The last generation 6.8" devices were the Lenovo Phab and Phab Plus which sucked due to the SD615 processor, and for the current 2016 generation of devices, this is the only 6.8" which has everything except NFC.

The camera on the ZFU3 is pretty good, and I hope there are more 6.8" devices.

Nice big screen. Camera can be considered midrange, much better than Xiaomi Mi Max.

Dual SIM with one of those adapters will let you use both SIMs + sdcard.

Generally not pocketable in casual wear unless you use cargo pants. It does fit in regular cut office slacks.

I got it BECAUSE of the size coz I like large screened mobile devices. Now looking for an 8 incher.
