how is asus on updating os? do they give 2 years update like other flagship phone or only 1 year?

Can't say for sure, but they're definitely improving over the years. We do hope they'll support the Zenfone 3 line at least up to Android O.

I read back few pages, some said The zenfone 3 zoom doesn't come with fast charger by default? Means we need to search for another charger?

Anyone here experiencing gallery crash and battery drain after nougat update ?

Did it happen after specific actions? Because mine is currently fine with the battery, and from regular browsing of the gallery, it seems fine too.

hi.. for zenfone 3, is it really necessary to get a tempered glass? or screen protector will do?

coz i read lots of review saying the tempered glass the bought not nicely fit.
or any recommendation on where I can a good tempered glass?

For 2.5d screen..I will put full cover tempered glass..Most of the time I bought from CKY store..The have the store at basement Klang parade and they do sell online via lelong

Even my Zenfone 3 zoom which is very new in market ..They are the only I found so far selling full cover tempered glass...Rm 19.90

After the update seems kinda normal to me
But after about 5 days the gallery keep on crash/stopped when i was browsing picture

Then this few day the battery drain is kinda serious
Fully charged on 11am went out for lunch , casual use (whatapps . social media) return to office left 70%
The device is very hot too

Hurm, there's probably something wrong.
1. Try updating it to the latest software update
2. Try to restart the device
3. Try to enabled flight mode and see if the battery drain continues

Is the z3 zoom worth the money ?

i find it strange that the asus zenfone 3 5.5" is snappier than xiaomi redmi note 3. Eventhough the RN3 have slightly better processor, the zenfone UI feels more responsive and faster. Maybe cause miui sucks but to those who say SD625 is slower then SD650, I would say not really.

personally, I think that asus zenfone is not worth it. Their phone overall quality is good but with the price they are selling, you can get other brand phones with better quality. For example, at RM2000, you can get one plus 3T, huawei mate 9 and so on that have better camera and SoC.

I got mine through phone plan so that is fine.

Haha, people usually buy Xiaomi to get the hardware, and they'll go to custom ROM for software.
