I kena hit and run on bike too
Luckily that time did not sustain serious injuries, but my bike cost alot to fix. That time no one managed to get the driver details, I got no video camera. Now I have one at least to use, very helpful and useful. It left scars on me. On my skin, look bad, but at least remind me to ride safe. But most important of all, ride safe, stay safe! |

Visited him just now. Doing good, can speak with me a bit. He's on oxygen. Expected to stay at the hospital for a month, top. No operation required, yet.
All his family members was there, so segan mau selfie haha He says he cant remember shit. He dont even know what car hit him. Suddenly blackout, later woke in hospital. Oh, he also thought the driver who hit him was a Nigerian. entah. Too bad he doesnt have his camera rolling this time. KenjiXx, if you read this, drop me a PM. Malas nak korek /as/ w. considering his injuries, the hit must have been really hard...hard enough to knock him unconscious, break a rib and cause a fracture on the skull. |

Just visited Quazacolt. He just came back from Radiology dept for CT Thorax.
Currently on nice dose of painkiller. Quite comfortable however still seems fuzzy. Able to speak well but I don't think he recognize me. Just take a good rest and enjoy your Milo. Anything you need just PM me. |

update on my R25:
almost nothing dmg. missing headlamp back cover, i guess someone just telling me to cough up or claim that rm600+ whole headlamp unit replacement lol. frame slider and front wheel slider, bar end took most of the damage, protected the bike. just need to replace the wheel slider/frame slider. signal lamp also loosened again. this time i still got my rear brake hahaha, bracket didn't broke again. all in all, bike is fine. tried to straighten it but failed, so had to suffer some cold start i guess? started up without issue, battery still healthy, all instruments/lights (except for one signal lamp) all fine. brakes all ok, wheels seem not misaligned/unbalanced. off it, had to get mom together with myself repark the bike a bit since they almost had the bike stuck to the wall and the rubbers seemed to get stuck on the floor :/ check engine oil level all fine, this time i got on it, easier to straighten the bike, start up again all fine, warmed up the bike, get it first gear and move a bit/neutral etc. and some red lines, everything seemed the same without issues. i jealous of the bike getting out of it almost without issue lol. and it's frustrating that i can barely handle my own 70 ish kilos, and then facing 160 kilos, it was just really hard. |

update on follow up police report (yes they require the victim to personally report)
- sergeant sent a letter to the offender to make their side of report - 2 months and was ignored, sergeant going to send second letter soon - registered letter so impossible that it didn't reach; only thing them being foreigners, the contents are in BM so they may just be ignorant. still, being in Malaysia, should just get someone else to translate and no excuse ignoring something from police. - looking up lawyer candidates for lawsuit, only way to bring some form of justice |

There is no real way of preventing it because one bad apple will drag the entire community down. The mentality of people who live for speed is not always something normal road users can fathom let alone live it. There is always the solution to ask them to go track, but the streets is the streets and it is a different thing. Whether bike lanes have or will impact the safety of motorcyclists or not. That i have no straight answer. Sometimes you see even motorcyclists riding out on the road with cars when there is evidently motorcycle lanes. Not to mention having someone keep to a rather narrow lane on long expressways is an extremely hard thing to do no matter what speed they are doing. At the end of the day, car drivers can only tell motorcyclists bad luck they did not choose a car when shit happens. But, running away is totally another crappy deal. |

Drivers think they don't need to bother about bikes since they pay more road tax tol etc. Riders think they can ride however they want and drivers need to always be on the extra lookout for them. Heck just 2 days ago I was driving and there was a bike tailgating right behind me waiting for chance to filter while on a small packed road which was moving around 60 km. Then suddenly car in front emergency brake coz another bike lane filtered and cut in front of him then I had to emergency brake and the bike behind me almost hit me but luckily he manage to swerve a bit and avoid hitting my back, best part is he then overtook me, honk and punched my front mirror when he passed. Luckily nothing break or cracking...and I was totally pissed like wtfff man even if accident happen it's his damn fault for tailgating so near knowing damn well that bikes can't break as fast as cars. If you're talking bout superbikes, lagi gempak flying on Highway at 260 kmh cilok sana sini, even slightest thing go wrong and things can get ugly. Maybe I only ride kapcai and never ride superbikes before so those big bikers will say I tak tau la but I really cannot fathom riding or even driving at high speeds and expect everything to be safe and fine. Don't need to jump and go crazy over his statements although suggesting all bikes off highways maybe a bit drastic for Malaysia but there is such a rule in other countries, for example Philippines. |

Let cars deal with these crazy drivers. For that Audi, if the driver whack a car, where can he run? His engine is totaled or he might go turtle. So again my advice to bikers, please don't ride on car lanes, the reward is not worth your limbs and lives. |
