Multicast should be up and you should able to watch astro, is it possible for you to go to ip diagnostic?

Do take a picture of that screen, that may be easier, it's OK for it to have improper ip address(affects only vod) but the Multicast needs to be working

Multicast is up for a while only. Later, it will shows not available. UPDATE: I've change my DHCP pool from 192.168.2.1 to 10.1.1.254.

First, I have my fiber terminal point. (From black colour fiber to white colour fiber optic cable).

Then, the white colour fiber optic cable goes into my TM ONU. And Connect the lan2 for my Maxis fiber.

Then I get my old D-Link router from TM to let it works as a switch by disabling the DHCP Pool.

Then, I plug in the blue colour RJ45 CABLE from my TM ONU to the first port. And plug in the yellow RJ45 CABLE for my Maxis Thomson router. Grey colour RJ45 CABLE will go to my TP-LINK router.

Now, I setup the TP-Link router with all port tagged with 621 for internet connection purposes only. The router is now assigned with one public IP. And I can surf the internet smoothly.

Then now, I connect my Maxis Thomson router with the Yellow RJ45 CABLE without changing anything as I can't login into the Thomson router even if I reboot it or login with my Administrator account or MaxisBB account. Already complaint to Maxis but looks like they ignored it, replying me shits.

Lastly, I plug in the RED colour RJ45 CABLE from my Thomson router to my ASTRO IPTV decoder. It works perfectly.

Guess what, everything works perfectly. So bassically, the TP-Link router will only supply Internet service and the Maxis Thomson router will only supply IPTV service.

All of this must be thanks to my brain and a bit idea from the VOIP setup with the TP-Link router.

Hi,

I'm facing the same problem too, but with a TP-Link Access Point. After connecting the AP to Maxis Router, Astro would not work after awhile.

Are there any other setting that you made to your TM router aside from disabling DHCP? Would a normal switch do the same work?

Thanks.
