Plan to top up 4 digits to my ASM and ASW today. When it is my turn only 14 unit for ASM and 2 unit for ASW. End up ASNB counter said got around 10k AS1M available around 2:45pm. So she ask me to grab AS1M while waiting for other ASX. Only manage to grab 1.6K AS1M out of 10k and open AS1M account immediately. Ask her to try again ASW and manage to grab only 1K out of 1.4k showed in screen.

Visited 1 bank, 1x only after ASNB today.

Managed to get 5 'baby' units- 4 ASM + 1 ASW (300u) which is an extra bonus before weekend rest.
ASM still need a bit of top up.

Overall this week, thumbup.gif ASM is the quickest to top up. ASW is the slowest but still able to get a bit of units everyday. thumbup.gif

I may or may not try my luck as bank staff on leave. No point trying at the other banks (RHB & MBB) here as I can already 'hear' no units.

Wish you & others, all the best luck. Auntie twinkle needs to park FD$ temporarily until the right time to get ASW later.

Some CIMB branch can even tell me that they block transaction for non-bumi to top up asnb.

You are worst than me then biggrin.gif

For my case, only started last week, and also told the teller that I will be trying until middle next month saja based on recent transaction trend (or earlier if very lucky)...

Furthermore, it's not like we have bottomless pit to top up biggrin.gif

Just thinking if I have 500,000 in ASX then will get around 2000 per month for monthly use (dividend split out). Maybe then I can retire.

But I think many of you probably achieved these mark already. As I read that time about some topping up few hundred Ks each time. eeks..

Sorry a bit OT. hehe.

Yup that's what I want to do. Get RM300k inside there, then go for risky investment. Whatever happen, I still can survive on the amount of dividend given out.

Yeah, haha.

To get that amount no easy feat...maybe those with inside help can. Those that go try over the counter...good luck biggrin.gif

Sign on the spot, pay RM100 (current promo), get it acknowledged by Pesuruhjaya Sumpah (RM 8 for me, auntie got RM6), then passed back the documents to PNB. An official document is supposedly sent to unitholder in about 2-3weeks' time (haven't received in my case).
