I know right. People think that they know everything and act like they're god in the forum whereas most of the time hidding behind keyboard as keyboard warrior

Cheers for the recommendation.
this is a pubic forum. True. You can just ignore if you're too lazy busy and no time to spoon-feed rolleyes.gif
I don't even ask for your reply.

And yes, so what I'm noob ? This is a public forum. I can ask question / doubts on something I'm not sure isn't it ? Did i ask anyone to install for me ? I just ask "Which source can watch HD movie"
Again, I don't need your arrogant reply as this is a public forum. You don't have to feedback to noobish question if you're too busy. Clear ?

p/s : opening a thread and sharing things you know doesn't make you an elite. Humble is the key or ignorance is bliss if you're hand are too lazy to give an answer straight whistling.gif

Dude.. There are no keyboard warriors here..Well, perhaps you.. with you childish and immature replies. Matter of fact, you are being downright rude and throwing a tantrum over something so basic is proof of your immaturity.. At least, I do research, test and freely share my knowledge unlike some would rather feel entitled..

You should take your advice.. Nothing about my replies was arrogant.. You call me lazy and too busy and yet I'm TS and you are the one who came in here, couldn't be bothered to use your brain and expecting extreme spoon-feeding, especially when the answer is right there in the open.. So this is a public forum, doesn't mean you shouldn't adhere to certain rules (written or not).. You sound like one of those arrogant selfish pricks who can light up a cigarette inside an elevator, claiming it's public space. Right? Cuz the world has to serve you.. Bet your folks told you were special huh.. Guess what, your folks were wrong and the world, I, Lowyat forum, etc doesn't owe you anything.. So word of advice.. Take your own advice and actually think before you comment on things.

Oh my bad.. I apologize for trying to impart some forum etiquette.. Sure you don't need my advice, wise ones don't turn down advice (good or bad). Feel free to leech on info already provided..It's public info... When done, I hope you do your own research and testing, return to contribute in the thread for the betterment of others.. icon_rolleyes.gif

On to more important matters, those who have difficulty searching for content through Quasar (providers error or no links found, etc), can manually add a torrent/magnet file from the comfort of other LAN connected devices like a PC, using a web browser... As long as Kodi and Quasar is connected, you can connect to and manage the files. First, you need the local IP of the device.. Can get that from the Kodi settings/info area.... replace in the following address: 192.168.x.xxx:65251/web/
*Example, if the IP is 192.168.1.111, then the address to visit becomes 192.168.1.111:65251/web/

Especially good for unlisted/non-functioning private providers or to simply stream a preferred file when the search results doesn't display it. Enjoy!

I don't have time to contribute to the forum. Too busy with life.

Uninstall addon & any related repo (if any).. Exit Kodi completely.. Re-download zip.. Make sure to download the right versions for your device. Android has 3 different types... Install again.

I recommend a clean Kodi install if the following steps do not work as should.

Make sure that it's the ARMv7a (32bit) Kodi version you have installed as it's the correct version for the U9-H... Make sure unknown sources have been ticked in settings.. Then install the ARM version of Quasar.. should work..
Plugin.video.quasar-0.9.78.android_arm.zip direct download

After installing and configuring Quasar, you MUST safely quit the Kodi addon, relaunch and then install the Quasar Burst program addon from the Quasar repo (which was installed along with the main addon).

This app does not use bluetooth at all.

It seems to use the IR interface and the wifi.

There is incompatibility with my box. When switching to mouse/touch pad mode, the app will trigger a reboot when I tap on the screen.

Didn't try it myself.. But according to the Play Store, it uses WiFi and or Bluetooth. So for WiFi, both devices have to be connected to the same network to work.. Compatibility, we'll that's another issue. It not having a dedicated server running on the device to smoothen things out (comms between device) may be a contributing factor... For Kodi users, the official Kodi Kore remote is available. Limited to the Kodi app alone.

The play store does not even mention anything about bluetooth. Search the web page, there is only one instance of "bluetooth" in the webpage, but there is in the context of a user feedback mentioning that, after having this app, "No need to purchase any of those Bluetooth wireless touch pads".

Just go ahead to disable the bluetooth on the tvbox, instantly we can see that bluetooth is simply not needed.

Another thing is "searching server ....." thingie is just a waste of time, it did not manage to locate any server within the time ( possibly it is doing a one-by-one test within the subnet or sending IR code to detect compatible tvbox ).

The search result is always empty. Finally users still have to manually enter the IP address of the tv box to get things working.
