Thanks I needed this. Problem is, mine is all in SD. LOL, not even in HD or Full HD. What connection are you on?

I installed krypton back in June and exodus as well so I'm not too sure if there's anything I need to update.

Ideally use Covenant (as shown in screenshot) instead of Exodus. Covenant is the replacement of Exodus.

Finally.....got it up. Have to install from the repo itself instead of Ares......

One thing though......from Alluc, it seems they want me to do some pairing. Not sure if this is a Windows thing.....

Some video sources/URL/provider require us to pair via a link such as www.storage.com/pair so they can push ads to you. You can use any device to pair. I watch on TV Box but pair on my phone browser. After pairing, you will be granted use for a short time (something like 3-4hrs) before you need to pair again. I'm not sure about the rest but I have done this many times and it's all safe. Just be prepared for some gambling/p0rn/dating site ads to pop up on your browser multiple times. ^.^ Alternatively, you can just ignore and cancel the pairing. Covenant will move to another source/URL/provider that does not require pairing.

Stop trolling! LOL.

I recommend a clean Kodi install if the following steps do not work as should.

Make sure that it's the ARMv7a (32bit) Kodi version you have installed as it's the correct version for the U9-H... Make sure unknown sources have been ticked in settings.. Then install the ARM version of Quasar.. should work..
Plugin.video.quasar-0.9.78.android_arm.zip direct download

After installing and configuring Quasar, you MUST safely quit the Kodi addon, relaunch and then install the Quasar Burst program addon from the Quasar repo (which was installed along with the main addon).

It's probably not within your control. You can only fix things within your control, such as congestion due to too many users in your house, or poor wifi connection, too many apps running in your tv box, too many ads, etc.

There are many of other reasons beyond your control.

How about a general type of setting?

My Android TV Box has 8GB RAM and it's still buffering. It is streaming over wifi and I understand that some buffering will be expected for this. However, I read that Kodi is designed to run on low spec devices so maybe some default setting on Kodi can be changed to take advantage on devices with more RAM? Not sure where this setting is though.

The issue for me is not so much the buffering but to see if my Kodi is optimized for the hardware it has~

Any comments are appreciated. cool2.gif

Firstly, while RAM size is important for Kodi, 8GB is simply way overkill and tells that it's either one of those random bs Android boxes or you actually meant ROM. My device has 2GB RAM and is more than sufficient. Other factors come into play, such as network health, server, device hardware + software combo and if it's Kodi friendly or not.

Try setting up a custom advancedsettings.xml for your Kodi installation. Might help. Read up on it.

what box is that?!
*
Haha sorry. I exaggerate. But point is, the box has more resources available than what Kodi was originally designed for (if I'm not mistaken). I just wanted to make sure my copy of Kodi is utilizing all available resources.

I tried editing the advancedsettings.xml file before but like no difference geh. Oso not sure where to check. Heh. I checked in Kodi settings where it got show system resources. Like no difference. No make sense.

Doesn't matter la. Now box is... dead. It's acting strange. Starts up and all but remote control doesn't work. Changed battery oso no work. And after Kodi starts up, it shows a blank screen on TV. Not even dimmed out. Just blank although TV receiving signal. Will see if I can wipe~

Cheers!

From Google Play Store. biggrin.gif tongue.gif
It's just an app, bro. Can even run on your android phone. Or Windows PC. Or... well, just read from pg 1.
