On the Burst setting, what is the ideal selection for the Movie n TV Show Sorting mode?

Also i realised all the 1080p that came out, there's this buzzing sound few seconds after it starts to play... What's the remedy?

weird mine doesnt have buzzing sound

That's the settings for the Quasar addon and not that of the Burst program addon. Based off the image, change the "Sorting mode for Movies & that of TV Shows" from Balanced to By Resolution. Doing this and with the current resolution preference settings means that, when returning results, 1080p files will be listed first (at the top), then only followed by 720p, then 480p.

Using Jarvis? Does this buzzing sound also occur when you hit play after pausing it and only with surround audio such as DD, etc? If so, then it could be a clash between your sound system..possibly passthru tech. Check that.

Separately, there's few providers by default which is enabled, which other good providers should i enable?

I don't think it's the resolution that causes that sharp buzzing sound.. So also test with stereo audio only.. See if it occurs too.

.. kodi version?
.. how is yr box input to AVR... hdmi, optical, coaxial, rca?
.. does the buzz happen with all videos on quasar or just the ones with dd/dts?
.. are the audio settings default or u have changed some of them?

Since you mention about it , which kodi interface is similar with A$tro navigation ?
I read somewhere few plugin reassemble it.
Pseudotv plugin + sickbeard auto upload.Any gudie around installing them and work with kodi addon tv channel ?

i have not come across anything useful like that.

i can think of using favorites as shortcuts.

but give it a month or 2, more than half would be dead as addons and plugins die off, need new ones.

Asking about Live TV with EPG Guide? Can be a pain to setup and maintain.. Especially if free. Need to have a bunch of addons and setup the channels to call up the particular channel from the live TV section of the addons. Major issues are dead links. Feel free to take a crack at it.

With 5.3.12, I can watch 4K with no problem.

First make sure Inputstream Adaptive and RTMP Input addons are Enabled. My Youtube settings as below.

I tried that but it didn't work before. even selecting 1080p vid. it only played 720p in most of the vid.

The new update works better.

btw!! if you are not sure about the new update. the MPEG_DASH are disable.

You must set Configure inputstream.adaptive settings manually like in the screenshot otherwise it will only play 720p. I've tried on Windows, Android and Libreelec 8.0.1 Kodi 17.1 and it works like a charm. Make sure the Youtube addon version is capable to enable Use MPEG DASH. In some version that feature is greyed out.
