i started this thread due to lots of /k said "gorilla glass don need put screen protector"

I am phone accessories seller and was a nokia lumia user.

my lumia 800 scratched and chipped in few months use without screen protector.

and lots and lots and lots of my customers who believed in gorilla glass were regret because their screen was either scratched or chipped or cracked in a short period.

one of my customer said "tiada benda yang perfect kecuali dihasil daripada Allah notworthy.gif

So i am here summoning /k who experienced scratched or cracked gorilla glass.  smile.gif

Me first :  Lumia 800 within 6 months usage, few scratches and chipped

It would strike me as obvious to shell out a few more extra ringgit to buy a tempered glass screen protector + proper casing to protect one's RM 2-3K investment. I guess it's true that common sense is not really that common afterall.

Eh, it is not rocket science to figure out that an extra layer is better than one layer.

Depend on user also. I careful user so ok. But 800 use gglass 1 only. So.

Still better than other phone.

from personal experience I find tempered glass protectors do a good job of absorbing the impact energy of a fall. would rather pay RM20 extra to save on a costly RM300 screen replacement
