i started this thread due to lots of /k said "gorilla glass don need put screen protector"

I am phone accessories seller and was a nokia lumia user.

my lumia 800 scratched and chipped in few months use without screen protector.

and lots and lots and lots of my customers who believed in gorilla glass were regret because their screen was either scratched or chipped or cracked in a short period.

one of my customer said "tiada benda yang perfect kecuali dihasil daripada Allah

So i am here summoning /k who experienced scratched or cracked gorilla glass.

Me first : Lumia 800 within 6 months usage, few scratches and chipped

Did Gorilla glass advertise themselves as scratchproof in the first place? Scratch resistant only, no?

All kind of Gorilla glass is weak against sands. Even if your key cannot scratch the glass, sands will.

Use phone for almost a year wihout tempered glass.
Tiny scratch cause i put my phone face down lol.

Gorilla glass > glass.

Doesn't meant gorilla glass is crack proof or scratch proof.

Memang mine never apply even my s2, note 1 screen scratch-less despite putting them together with my key in my pocket for years

Gorilla glass claim don't scratch easily(of cource they will, but not that easy) but never claim crack/chip proof wo.. who on the Earth can't differentiate these?

of cos can scratches or break. but depend on occasion. not easily scratches/break like normal glass
