here are two camera picture samples from RN3. one using default camera and the other using Camera360 app. original settings. but the RN3 does have HDR on.

i guess nothing you can do about the camera. not much can improve if change app to take photos.
btw the above comparison is not the same condition. should use a tripod and at same location and lighting to compare pictures |

i should use a tripod but it was taken a minute apart and i doubt anything changes. this was indoor with little lights.
i hope to find an app that take the best quality using RN3 camera. but the picture quality is quite ok either. with a more sturdy hands or tripod, i am sure it will improve. QUOTE(kurtkob78 @ Jun 16 2016, 04:02 PM) |

QUOTE(Scirwode @ Jun 16 2016, 08:28 AM) Err... there are limits to what you can do to extend battery life. RN3 uses IPS LCD, so it is one screen by itself unlike AMOLED, which is individual diodes. The thing is, I've been reading about people posting on trying to extend battery life by not updating and what not, is it really that important? At the end of the day, you still have to charge it. very true lol most of the normal user will be glad if it lasted a full day of heave use after all i am going to charge it everynight. updating for certain security patches is much more important than a few min of battery life .At the end of the day, it still has limitations. You don't need to extend to the point where it becomes anal. Besides, what are powerbanks for P.S. My RN3 on Global Beta will always end up with about 50% charge at the end of the day after heavy calls, SMS, WhatsApp, WiFi and not, the next morning it will have about 45% until I get to work and until the middle of the day I will probably charge it. Really, the battery life of RN3 is very good, there is no need to go to extreme lengths just to extend a couple of minutes. Scirwode |
