Today we went to B2 of Damansara Empire City to view our unit at The loft Block D. We went in the lift unit (L5) with 8 adults and a child but the lift doesn't move. So only after 4 adults came out of the lift, it started to move up.

To our return trip going down by lift we encounter an extremely nightmares. We came down at 15 floors with 6 adults and a 2 years child and the lift suddenly jam at LG2 where the lift button does not exist at all and couldn't open. We press the alarm and also the emergency phone but nobody answer after 30 minutes despite numerous pressing of the alarm.

We continue to press the alarm and all our mobile phones were not working while we are stuck in the lift. After trying everything we could and the 2 years child shown sign of suffocation because the fan is not working well during that time that we forced open the lift but by 3 adults. The lift was hanging halfway.

We take this risk to escape to avoid suffocation and die in the lift because empire city department has station an inexperience guard and no maintenance staff was called to open the jam lift. All I can say is it will be a tragedy if we do not have men in the lift at that time and all avenue to call for help was not available. Empire city will be  trouble if someone die due to your negligence.

The guard sitting in the entrance of the door near the lift was so ignorant and just do not bother with our cries and panic.

Empire city should hire guard that able to speak english at control panel with experience on it. Not hire guard that did not care the safety

Dun worry. The money market King ll tell u dun buy their products. Cos many other sohaissssss ll cont buying wan. Not many investors r sensitive towards all tis news. Especially many nowadays blinded by sohai Hunter @ Mat7 gurus

should report to police and bomba. with this kind of conditions, how on earth the bomba approve for CF! I wonder if the testing and commissioning was properly carried out with proper records.

Must bring up the case. if it is not looked into, someone will be trapped again.     

Mantrap is common nowadays, as the quality of  lift suppliers can't really keep up with Klang Valley high-rise developments. However, communication in between car lift and securities should be functional and monitored 24 hours.

agree, how on earth can the bomba approve for CF. after all the lift can only handle 4 adult's weight? that's below 400kg isn't that hilarious?
nowadays i got an habit to observing brand of the lift as a reflexion on the developer. although is not always true but that's my first impression on building quality.

I think cant blame MEH for lift faulty but the security guard should respond to people in the lift. You as owner should lodge complaint to the management about these lousy security.

its not coincidence that both empire damansara and city also got chilling lift incidents......

LIft is done by contractor mah how to blame MEH leh. Mid valley also kaboom lor chili close down how long already still not open. Last weekend im an seri riana condo at wangsa maju by IJM so high end lift also jam jam house owner dont dare to use that lift.

Those excalator in shopping mall case u can blame is mall fault ? it has to be the escalator company fault ma its thier duty to check and make sure its safety.
