a perodua sc i went last time with my kelisa, asked them to service my brake pads, they checked my battery for free, but they used a hand held machine to check, they checked with my engine on / off, and also head light + ac on / off .. and print out a paper that state my battery is already weak. and asked me to change my battery.

i purchased the battery outside after that.

It was 3 years 4 month. perodua gave me warning at 3 years 1 month time... but i didn't took it seriously until it totally can't start the engine 3 months later.

i was using Century wet battery.

axia only 2 years old, it is very hard to tell yet on whether its electronics will shorten the lifespan of its battery. so far my battery is still around 12.3v after i left 2 weeks without starting at all. also easily only 1 crank to start the engine after 2 weeks. some owners here claim to have lower life span i am thinking it could be due to after market electronics, or left stereo playing while engine off. besides, my axia also not even 2 years old. maybe reach that time my battery also dead.

hmm... why would they do that? as usual practice every oil change it is better to change the filter together.

is the previous oil interchange mile age very very low?

Anyone change their 1st battery , what is the time of the battery change ? , just saw some 1 years 7 months change then this mr  mootikpin  change on 1 year and 3 months , had anyone haven't change the battery yet and the car more than 2 years old ? ,

Sometimes really dunno just perodua sc  test the battery when the battery not fully charge  or the battery really fail the test  .

Better keep jumper cable in my car in case .
*
Well my axia has just passed 2 years old. Haven't change the battery yet. Hard to tell because so many different driving conditions. Just carry a jumper cable in your car lor. My car is E spec.

I have super capacitor parallel with my battery, so far so good after 1.5 years. There is a voltage meter attach to my 12V ciggy thingy, voltage around 12.5 to 12.7 before start engine.

To maintain my battery, it's best to top up the battery water every 6 months.
I'm also getting a car battery charger using AC line.

I was searching around my junk and found the multimeter I bought last time for testing computer power supply then I use to test my battery it shows 12.35v in the morning then after I drive to work about 15 minutes drive , now it shows 12.55v already , so I gueess my battery still healthy . The 12.35v it might be because I start and off the engine a few times yesterday night so it lose some charge .

Base on your readings, it may actually be not working well.
Go to a battery shop and test your battery immediately.

for what I search online it say 12.35v is 75% charge and the night before I keep start and off a few times test the light how dimm it look just slightly dimmer than engine is on not too dimm , well I will monitor a few days before I get the battery replace , or check , most of the time u go workshop check also the foreman trying to con me , use some analog multimeter to test , and say this say that , in case I will will keep 1 jumper cable in my car .

Perodua SC quoted me to change the front pair of brake pads need rm300+.

What makes that Axia brake pads so expensive. I remember viva has much reasonable priced components
