My solution for squeeky dashboard noise

Found out the root cause for my car
i was so pissed, keep hearing it getting worse and worse,
it annoys me to the max

so i rage, took apart my panel. slowly troubleshoot and i found this.


If u see the photo above, not sure u can see it, there is a metal frame holding the dash,
the radio mount is rubbing onto the frame, hence creating the squeeky sound

so i took out the radio, saw the mount got some scratch marks, especially at the curved our area


took a playar, straighten part of bend, especially the place where it touch the body frame

used sponge tape to stick near all the screw mounts,

took apart the front panel, stick the tape in between there also


assembled everything back
no more squeeky, rattling sound the dash makes 

How was your squeaky sound like ? Like got rat inside your car ? Keep making noise when driving ? Or making noise only on certain road condition ? ,

Under my dashboard does got some noise tick like that when going over those bridge connextion point I dunno is it from the radio area or under the steering .

And I more sound I hate really getting more annoying dunno where it came from the noise to be heard near windshield area on driver side , it just keep getting worst when inside cabin is quiet , I suspect the sound came under the bonnet and transmit into the cabin

Like this I guess we having the same noise kinda like small stone chip inside a small metal box shaking right ? Is really annoying when I trying to drive with radio off .
I will try to record it , really hard to hold the phone and driving manual car to record the noise haha , I wish I got 3 hand at this situation ,

This is the ticking noise I said about , near windshield area on driver side , for people try to listen I think you need use head phone because can't record the noise loudly , but the noise enough to annoy me when I driving with radio off

Eventually my car get new rattling sound already somewhere near door on driver side , dunno is door or the seatbelt cover area , the noise like rubber rubbing plastic , dunno is it the common door rattling noise on their car , anyone had the door rattling noise video ? Just wanna listen to is see is it really is the door rattle

Wanted SE but family suggested G because the extra 5k not worth it for the USB and Bluetooth features.

Anyone here can suggest is it cheaper to install HU with Bluetooth and USB instead of getting SE?

Hai guys , nak tanya..my fren ada axia E spec..does it come with radio socket in the dash? Because he buy a Se player without soket 1..

e spec owner here also.  
i think he mean the bracket for the headunit.   No , axia e spec doesn't come with hu bracket but my technician put in a lot of foam when he install the double din touch screen player . make sure he put a lot in it because after a while when the foam become " lembik" the player will move slightly inside and unflush with the console panel.
today it was raining heavily.  and i was stuck in a kL  rush hour traffic jam. my car barely can move. i was feeling cold so i off the air cond. after that my car water temperature slowly increase until 100 degree celcius. then i turn on the air cond again.
to my surprise , the water temperature drop and fluctuated in between 88 to 92 degree celcius. it seem like there is some kind of temperature control mechanism going on with the air conditioner in "on" position. but this mechanism is not functioning during "off" position.
Can someone explain to me ?  or is it my car have some problem?

Just fixed the spotlight and interior on/off switch in my Axia G-spec. Lights from acc shop in Pekaka, Penang and switch from Eneos 1-utama.

Anyway, just encountered first major problem for my car..

The air-con compressor KO over the weekend.. This morning send in to SC and got it changed for free as still under warranty..
