TS I think you should update the common problems section with more info like if install this/that that don't require cutting of wire WILL NOT void warranty. also common things to check upon receiving car. or if change rim then void warranty or not etc etc as many people are asking although has been repeated many times. it'll make the thread cleaner and more organized. just my suggestion
rule of thumb you change something that is covered under warranty then that particular item that you change will be void example:
change to bigger rim/spring/adjustable/different absorber = void for your suspension warranty ONLY not void the whole car warranty
I think you get the picture.
just to share I have changed many things in the car and am also servicing outside, not in perodua so therefore in paper my warranty is supposed to be void because I did not service my car in perodua service centre or dealer BUT I managed to claim engine mounting warranty from perodua just by asking nicely. sometimes is your luck and the way you present yourself as the people at SC are humans too so don't go in and complain this that bla bla bla, no one will want to help you.
and to those that are worry about warranty is really best not to do anything to the car if warranty is your main concern. if you want to change then pls be prepared for the part you want to change to be void from warranty

Before this I was using millers trident 5w30 but semi synthetic, the oil is OK but the torco is just wow. Try it to believe it I usually get fresh oil every 7k to 8k due to our weathers hot climate to keep the engine fresh

QUOTE(afify88 @ May 20 2016, 08:38 PM) Ya but must go kl, if penang price up to 350, i just text the guy from the shop This fella always change price and bomb the group with post. One day 400 one day 350 one day 280 then suka suka raise price again. Somemore keep bugging when wanna come install. But if 280 then is good deal bro But my concern about this product is when the car idle how the heat wanna escape under engine bay, got 2 small vents only. If cruise highway most of the time then OK but city driving hmmmm

QUOTE(ahboon76 @ May 20 2016, 11:27 PM) Yeah i ask this question to my friend who about to install this into his car. Do remember that this whole thing will cover your engine and left some small vent. Does it sufficient for the heat to escape? QUOTE(afify88 @ May 20 2016, 11:37 PM) Owhh so his bargaining ehh....later wanna jual mahal so can lower the price until 250ππππ Yahh me also wonder about that because the vent for air flow only so car need to be moving so if install that in city if traffic jam how engine gonna get some airπ Yeah I ask him that question just reply got 2 vent then you can see from the pic the vent is actually very small. Malaysia weather some more so hot imagine your engine locked up with minimal air flow. But of course if you cruise highway is not a problem as air turbulence can be minimised. I ask my mechanic who was selling this last time he just say is good to have but not the most crucial. After all if you dont go off road with the car should be fine as city Road not as dusty and dirty

QUOTE(Wo0t_w0ot @ May 26 2016, 11:08 AM) Yaa i realized that too, hard to tell which one ori which one fake. But UR said, original one comes with warranty card. Mine don't have warranty card. Aiyyyak I went to UR Hq to install some bars. No warranty card given also. I think most important is installation of the bar itself. Make sure the bolting points are correct and tightly secured

QUOTE(leon_liang @ May 26 2016, 08:20 PM) Hi all, a newbie here, i wanted to ask something about warranty. My axia's aircon broke down yesterday and i made appointment today to sent for claiming warranty. They used up whole day to diagnose and told me that is compressor leaking. They said it may take up to 3 weeks to order the parts and i have to make another appointment once the spare parts arrived. Is it ridiculous that it takes up to 3 weeks to get a new compressor for a local make car? Go straight to sanden glenmarie to claim air con warranty. Might take up the whole day though

QUOTE(xabre23 @ May 26 2016, 07:47 PM) Hey guys, just got my HP approved from banks. Can't wait to join the club. Had to read through all V1-V5 @_@ Getting a Lava Red - SE AT (: PJ Saw some people ask about the front sensor switch pre-installed, is that confirmed for all SE and Advance? Also wanna ask what you guys feel about it for Long Distance drives? Maybe not so far like KL - Penang, maybe Ipoh / Melaka. Actually, any reason to get Advance vs the SE? Abit tiring even to malacca for me. As I'm 180cm tall the steering can't adjust so it's a bit tricky to find the sweet spot. Also its frustrating to get the car to go above 140 highway cruise so you have to be patient. Adv over SE is just leather seat and touch screen player. Up to you to justify if the 2k plus difference is worth the two items
