Is the AF easily waivable?

18k or 20k annual spending. correct figure unsure

I managed to get the AF waived without fulfilling RM18k/year spend with no spending conditions.

Just call CS and ask??? CS just gave soft reminder to spend RM18k/year to get automatic waiver.

I spent over 22k last year but was still charged the annual fee.
I wrote to them, and this is how they replied—lol.

Please be informed that the annual fee of RM200.00 will be imposed to customer on the anniversary (renewal) date every year. The annual fee for AEON Platinum Card is auto waived with minimum spending of RM18,000 per year.

Nevertheless, we will submit a one-time waiver request for the annual fee on an exceptional basis. Please note that this waiver request is subject to approval. You may refer to your next statement for any adjustments (if any).

Any reason you insist to keep the card when they treat you like a beggar? And on top of that they try to rob you for the annual fee cause they know you can afford it based on spending.

That is just format letter dont feel like begger la......

paydy mcc is telco somewhere before early feb, after that changed to 6540

any idea how long aeon tends to take to ship their cards? got approved at 24th March for AEON Visa Gold, until now still havent come in my mailbox.

Also, saw this in their T&C:

Does this mean if I want to use the plaza premium lounge around (for example) 7th May, I need to either start using the card from 7th April onwards until 7th June?

Anyone can confirm this is correct / or have used the above perk? Is it fairly straightforward to claim this?

very staright forward, from 8th April (30days B4) to 6th Jun (30days after) cumulative total usage of RM500.

yeah just need some reassurance cause the customer support isn't responsive at all.

And i dont see any minimum waiting period clause before being entitled for this benefit, so I suppose I'll be able to utilize the perk almost immediately after getting the card.

When will the cashback for AEON Visa/Mastercard Gold and AEON Mastercard Platinum be reflected in our account?

wow this Aeon credit card, kena once on last year on unauthorized transaction from a website, card replaced.

then 2 days ago kena the same thing again, how could the loose security happened...

Retention team call back and ask me to keep the card for 3 months and they will give me RM50 rebate to the statement.

Free money. Ok lo keep. Once I get the rebate will call and cancel again.

Just to ask for AEON Mastercard Platinum, cashback earned in one statement cycle is only awarded in the next right?

So if I plan to cut the card and have already hit the RM1250 target this month (statement will be 25 May) I should wait until 25th June, receive cashback, then only cut?
