Update on my 2 missing transactions from 15/9:
E-mailed Pos Online yesterday, and today they are both showing up in AEON Credit online, transaction date 15/9, posting date 20/9. I would recommend people using POS Online to pay AEON to monitor transactions carefully. Although they issue eventually gets resolved (just need to e-mail), I dread to think what would happen if we didn't notice and monitor ourselves. |

QUOTE(jhlou @ Sep 20 2016, 09:55 AM) My two transactions are also showing up this morning, but I did not email them. Possibly. However, there were a few cases reported previously where the delay was for a few weeks. In addition, my later transactions were processed, but only 2 missing ones on 15/9. So it can be quite random.I like to think that the delay is caused by high volume of transactions to Aeon, after card statement is out on same day. QUOTE(laymank @ Sep 20 2016, 09:59 AM) I make it a habit to pay immediately after the bill is out. That gives plenty of time to monitor the payment and resolution, if required. Yepp me too. Since its payment through CC, there's no actual cashflow issue, so I pay the moment the statement is out. However, since I pay using 8 different cards, I try to do my payments on different days so I don't end up in a situation where all payments made on a certain day are missing. |

QUOTE(adamdacutie @ Oct 3 2016, 04:09 PM) Anyone knows if there s a grace period for late payment aeon visa gold? For eg 2nd of the month is due but payment later by one or two days will not be charged late fee I paid 1 day late once because of Pos Online problem and I got charged hefty finance fee because my outstanding amount included those from BT. Better you call now and ask for waiver if possible. |

QUOTE(drew86 @ Oct 3 2016, 04:45 PM) Will they waive finance fee if we show our PosOnline receipt as proof of timely payment? I.e. delay is caused by PosOnline QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 3 2016, 04:47 PM) It's system run, so the charges will show up automatically. Like with other banks, can always try to ask for waiver especially if first time late payment. For me, I didn't bother with calling you to waive. My charges were 70+ that month, but I got RM180 cashback and didn't want to make a big issue out of Pos Online in case Aeon decided to cease this payment channel. Win some lose some. |

QUOTE(mamamia @ Oct 3 2016, 05:52 PM) If u notice the payment due date for aeon, they d give 2-3 days grace period. I think what the original question meant was is there a grace period for payments AFTER 2nd of the following month. In my experience, I got charged when my payment was received on the 3rd instead of the 2nd.Statement Date: 10th of the month Statement due date: 2nd of following month |

QUOTE(bm_kia @ Oct 4 2016, 10:54 AM) Did the charge appear in statement or unbilled transaction? Mine was in statement. My understanding previously from the CS about a year back is they allow 3 days grace period - which means the late payment charges would only be charged after 5th of the month. Even then, you can call for waiver. My issue was also because amounts related to BT instalments which have no grace period unlike retail. Anyway, we shouldn't be relying on grace periods since they are discretionary. |

Aeon big cc members - good time to go shopping at aeon big tomorrow as it's 5% second Sunday of the month and you also get your normal aeon big cc cashback.

Yesterday night I made 2 payments to AEON CC using Pos Online, and encountered something odd.
When I checked my transaction history, the transaction date is listed one day later (i.e. 11 Oct instead of 10 Oct). See attached screenshot. The transactions haven't appeared in my AEON CC unbilled listing, or my paying CC's listing yet. Not sure what's going on with POS Online, but has anyone paid AEON CC recently via POS Online? Any problems? Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(imnotabot @ Oct 14 2016, 12:50 AM) First time paying AEON CC with CIMB Cash Rebate, just want to make sure: Correct. But if you want to be super calculative, you can pay 587.50 (599.96 will be charged to cc) and it will also be RM30 rebate. I tried last month as a tester. If I want to pay just enough to get 5% cashback (the rest pay using cash), I should pay RM 587.54 right? Because RM 587.54 + 2% with 6% GST (RM 12.46) = RM 600. And 5% of RM 600 is exactly RM 30. Correct? Also, the actual rebate I'm getting is just RM 30 - RM 12.46 = RM 17.54 right? And it's actually only 2.92% cash rebate (I spent RM 600 and got back RM 17.54)? Basically easy calculation for Pos Online is 600 / 1.0212. This post has been edited by lilsunflower: Oct 14 2016, 01:11 AM |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 1 2016, 01:51 PM) Thanks for sharing on the Past Transactions. I will check out later when I'm back to office. I checked my PosOnline transactions haven't posted under unbilled transactions. Wow. Just checked my online account, and there are loads of changes.Yes, you have to check under past transactions, but now they don't show "posting date" and "transaction date". NORMALLY, if you pay AEON via Pos Online during normal working hours, it will post in AEON the next morning (or the morning after). Less normal is 3-4 days. So if you paid on 30, no need to panic yet. Just wait until tomorrow and check in the morning. |
