I thought aeon member scheme very generous

Update on my 2 missing transactions from 15/9:

E-mailed Pos Online yesterday, and today they are both showing up in AEON Credit online, transaction date 15/9, posting date 20/9.

I would recommend people using POS Online to pay AEON to monitor transactions carefully. Although they issue eventually gets resolved (just need to e-mail), I dread to think what would happen if we didn't notice and monitor ourselves.

Possibly. However, there were a few cases reported previously where the delay was for a few weeks. In addition, my later transactions were processed, but only 2 missing ones on 15/9. So it can be quite random.

Yepp me too. Since its payment through CC, there's no actual cashflow issue, so I pay the moment the statement is out. However, since I pay using 8 different cards, I try to do my payments on different days so I don't end up in a situation where all payments made on a certain day are missing.

I always have issues with my mobile devices, but better on laptop. What are you using to log in?

Yepp mine is past few days too. Have to keep entering details a few times before it gets through.

I paid 1 day late once because of Pos Online problem and I got charged hefty finance fee because my outstanding amount included those from BT. Better you call now and ask for waiver if possible.

It's system run, so the charges will show up automatically. Like with other banks, can always try to ask for waiver especially if first time late payment.

For me, I didn't bother with calling you to waive. My charges were 70+ that month, but I got RM180 cashback and didn't want to make a big issue out of Pos Online in case Aeon decided to cease this payment channel. Win some lose some.

I think what the original question meant was is there a grace period for payments AFTER 2nd of the following month. In my experience, I got charged when my payment was received on the 3rd instead of the 2nd.

Mine was in statement.

My issue was also because amounts related to BT instalments which have no grace period unlike retail.

Anyway, we shouldn't be relying on grace periods since they are discretionary.

Yes. Its exactly the same thing. They are both provided by AEON Credit, so the money gets paid to same financial institution.

Yesterday night I made 2 payments to AEON CC using Pos Online, and encountered something odd.

When I checked my transaction history, the transaction date is listed one day later (i.e. 11 Oct instead of 10 Oct). See attached screenshot.

The transactions haven't appeared in my AEON CC unbilled listing, or my paying CC's listing yet.

Not sure what's going on with POS Online, but has anyone paid AEON CC recently via POS Online? Any problems?

Correct. But if you want to be super calculative, you can pay 587.50 (599.96 will be charged to cc) and it will also be RM30 rebate. I tried last month as a tester.

Basically easy calculation for Pos Online is 600 / 1.0212.

Wow. Just checked my online account, and there are loads of changes.

Yes, you have to check under past transactions, but now they don't show "posting date" and "transaction date".

NORMALLY, if you pay AEON via Pos Online during normal working hours, it will post in AEON the next morning (or the morning after). Less normal is 3-4 days.

So if you paid on 30, no need to panic yet. Just wait until tomorrow and check in the morning.

I hate hardcopies. If I kept files of hardcopy statements, my home would be swamped with paper. I've currently got 26 active CCs..... so imagine the piles of paper!
