normally, need to wait next quarter to see the cash back.
But, no sure when AEON will giv ethe cash back for apr 2016. I think if have also, need to wait until apr 2016 finish in order to calculate the total spend

the very last quarter is this month APRIL.
the very last CB will be in MAY if u meet min 3k spend in APRIL.

for those convert to other Aeon cc, the CB and point will be transfer to this new card once u activated! and watami cc will dead instantly.
so make sure u fully utilize max 5k to get Rm150 before activate new card!


for those not convert, CB will give by cheque, but point will burn. some say the point will auto convert to Cash rebate and pay together with cheque.

how long would the point redemption reward took place if i hand in to service counter

my experience is like 2weeks. but that happened to fall under the statement cycle.

didn't get any response from email guess they don't care, will call them this week since this is the last week anyway

what other requirement needed ? isn't it just direct transfer to a new cc ?

point redemption thru email will not get reply, next month, the cash back will magically pop out in ur statement

I managed to get an acknowledgement of receipt from them by stating "Please kindly acknowledge......" when i emailed the redemption form to them. It was replied by a human and not auto-reply.

Just call up the customer service. The guy told me watami card still can be used. All payment still can be made to this card until you have new card transferred to.

When i ask about the point, he told me total points in watami will be convert to CB in total points x 0.5%.

Thinking to apply old aeon (CB) or Big aeon (Petrol) now..

They will give 0.5% additional points? That's like what additional 50 points for every 10k point?

He give me 3 choices, AEON big, New AEON, classic AEON (I believe he is refer to old AEON because when i ask detail whats different between new AEON and classic, he told me RM1 for one point only for classic, not worth)

u can convert to the old aeon card then later go sign up for the aeon big card when they have promotion

There is promotion for aeon big usually? free voucher?

As my quarter is 24 Jan to 24 Apr, I have seen my RM150 cash back in my 10 Apr statement.

by the way, for a person who doesnot visit aeon big, is the old aeon card better (RM1 for 1tp) than the new aeon classic card? If I were to use the aeon card at any place, it would be RM1 for 1point isnt it, as compared to the new aeon classic card of RM2 = 1 point
